The best of all the Gondwana resorts. Best food by far and very friendly service. It was just the 2 of us on one night for dinner and they treated us like the restaurant was full. No half measures!!! Most amazing dessert!

On our way to Ai-ais Hotsprings we stopped over at Kalahari Farmhouse. Friendly staff, nice rooms and a great outside area to relax and enjoy a drink or two. Really good. Can recommend this place for a stop over.

We liked our second stay at Kalahari Farmhouse very much. The room was clean and well maintained, dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff was so friendly. Enjoyed the clean pool during the afternoon and liked to relax on the terrace in front of our room. Very nice stay!

First impressions are good - nice to have a bit of lush greenery in the middle of the desert. The room is nothing special and ours was infested with mosquitos. There is a mosquito net over the bed - use it or you will be eaten alive. We did not use the pool as there were far too many noisy...

Accommodation is in separate bungalows that are spacious. Some of the bungalows are family units with a kitchen, separate bathroom and 4 beds. We did not have a fridge/minibar, but there was a hair dryer and an in-room safe. Several sockets take all kinds of plugs. Sleep quality is excellent. There is a nice outside pool (about 4x8 m) with...

We stayed at the Kalahari Farmhouse for three nights. It's a charming little estate in the north of Stampriet and looks exactly as nice as advertised online. The accommodation is a cute little one bedroom house, simple but nicely decorated and with a spacious bathroom. The porch is nice to look into the garden after the nice home-cooked dinners. The...

We stayed here during our first night in Namibia. The drive from Windhoek is rather long but just doable. After the flight from Europe next time I will stay more close to Windhoek. The campsite was nothing special, just very simple. The dinner in the restaurant was very good.

Beatifull place and fantastic service. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very neat and love the old "farm" decoration. Which our stay was longer, but will go again. We will recommend it to all our friends.

Located in the midst of the Kalahari, on the fringes of the village of Stampriet in the fertile valley of the seasonal Auob River, Kalahari Farmhouse combines upmarket hospitality with a rural ambiance. The reception and restaurant are housed in a manor, built in the heyday of Karakul farming 50 years ago. The small farming business next-door keeps the kitchen stocked with fresh produce for the delicious dishes on the menu. For guests there are 11 tastefully decorated rooms in chalets reminiscent of the Cape Dutch style. Enjoy the serene tranquility at the pool, visit the farming business or join a scenic drive in Gondwana Kalahari Park, just 30 km away. ... more   less
