Stayed two nights at the property. I want to go back just for the fresh seafood platters we had. I can't think of anything better. Maybe hearing the water rush up to my door front and knowing that in the morning there would be a gorgeous sunrise waiting for me. The service was wonderful. I look forward to visiting again.

We camped at this lodge on the beach for a couple of nights in October. The campsite was right on the beach amongst the palm trees with wonderful views of the ocean. We also had a seafood platter one evening including prawns, fish, octopus and calamari (squid). Absolutely delicious, Peter is a fantastic chef.

We have spent 4 nights at Kilwa Dreams 3 days ago and it was the most enjoyable part of our tanzanian trip after a very difficult and disappointing safari. Gladys, Peter and all the staff make you feel like home. Great sense of hospitality and always ready to make you happy. We had a bungalow on the beach : couldn't be closer. Nice and confortable with local decoration. Everyday we enjoyed fresh seafood ; fruits, vegetables, fishes, calamaris, prawns and even lobsters. We were the only customers except 3 people for one night so very quiet ! Long walks along the beach and good swim in the afternoon. Lot of sea birds and women collecting weeds. Everything you need for peaceful holidays. And for a very reasonable rate : around 50$pppd full board! Thank you very much Kilwa Dreams. Highly recommended.

I came back to KDL for a long week-end after one year and I was not disappointed : I am still impressed by the quality of the food, fresh seafood cooked swahili style with care, lovely, efficient and smily staff, beautiful view and warm sea, nice bungalow and perfect place to pitch tent. We did the day trip to Songo Mnara and Kiswani including lunch and snorkeling, and I recommend Athman, the passionate local guide who organised this perfect day. Ask for him when you book the tour.

I spend three nights here with my family incl. two smaller children and we had a wonderfull time. The place is indeed well kept and located just at the beach and its so quiet and beautiful. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we felt immediately at home. The staff is wonderful and welcomed us with nice juice and big smiles from the moment we arrived. The food is fantastic and very tasty. There is no fixed menu, but every day we had several of options to choose from. So the deal is just to arrange with the staff in order to get what you wish for and I strongly recommend you to go for the seafood - the best I ever had! I strongly recommend this place and we will definitely come back.
