We had such a great few days at the Lodge. The area is beautiful and the lodge is so comfortable and clean. Jocelyn and Scott were so welcoming and the room we had was perfect. Beautiful interior, new, clean and good size. Great location and place to relax after exploring and hiking in the day. Would highly recommend Abel Tasman...

We've stayed at the Abel Tasman Lodge before and wanted to come back as we loved the place so much the first time. Scott and Jocelyn, the new owners, have made this place even better!! The cabins are very spacious, very nicely decorated, have everything you need and are very clean and tidy. The location in Marahau is just awesome,...

Great place to stay if you are having an adventure in the Abel Tasman. Very clean and tidy. Our room had a lovely little deck out the back which was great for enjoying a cold beverage after a long day of exploring the trail. Will definitely be back!!

Room was wonderful, Kitchen was more than fully equipped and was always clean. Location was excellent. The owner was amazingly helpful. Best place that I stayed in on the south island. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Abel Tasman.

Jocelyn helped us book our water taxis and had great recommendations on how we should spend our days in the park. We will definitely be back next time we...

We stayed at Abel Tasman Lodge for three nights. Jocelyn & Scott were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The location of their lodge is perfect for access to anything you wish to do in Abel Tasman: hiking, kayaking, beaches, etc. The lodge is quiet, clean and comfortable. If and when we return to the area we would certainly stay at Abel...

This facility is a very nice place to spend a few days when seeing the sites in the area. It is NOT a mega lodge like might exist in the US or Europe. It has very nice rooms and very helpful staff. Please note that the cell phone reception is sketchy at best

My running group stayed here for four days while completing the Abel Tasman trail. This is a lovely small lodge in landscaped gardens. The rooms have been renovated to a good standard, and everything is designed to be as eco-friendly as you would hope in this location. What really stuck out for me though was the approach the owners have...

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy. It is modern, clean and comfortable with great amenities. In our room we had a fridge, hot plate and microwave but there is also a full kitchen in the complex for all you cooking needs. We found this handy as we tended cook our own dinners after great hiking in...

We spent 3 nights here during our 6 weeks trip through New Zealand and Australia. We loved the Abel Tasman NP and this lodge really enhanced our stay. Perfectly located and quiet, yet within walking distance of restaurants and small shop. Very well equipped and the private patio was not overlooked. Our 2 bedroom chalet was roomy and beautifully appointed....
