This is a nice hotel with friendly people. Great location close to the water. Main attraction it the one star restaurant - which is definitely worth the journey. Extremely high level, insightful service and paired with great wines. There is no snobby attitude here just world class food and a world class experience. Can strongly recommend this...

Expensive restaurant with gourmet food, served in distressingly small portions. No A/C so bedrooms and breakfast areas can be very warm. Friendly staff and a beautiful location with great views across the sea. There are some nice restaurants a short walk away, at the port.

the Restaurante was closed. It is a nice Hotel in Præsto, that is close to the Port an all their Restaurants. The view you have when you take Breakfast in the Morning is insane. And the Food is realy good. I haven't had such a good Breakfast in a Hotel in a while. Perfekt for one or two nights.

Brilliant country side mention. We had two room suite, one in the tower. Very traditional and up to the epoch furnishing. The restaurant is a separate story.... but breakfast to be mention hear as a time machine experience so you can expect Hercules Poirot to join you.

We stayed here one night and to be honest had mixed feelings. But the breakfast just blew us away and the super-friendly lady who served us breakfast really made our visit. She said she used to work at SAS, the airline, she is a great asset to this establishment. The breakfast was just wonderful. Beautifully presented and such a welcome...

My husband and I stayed here for one night in May and had a delicious six course taster menu. The staff were friendly and helpful and told us all about the food in perfect English. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was also very nice. We went for a walk along the coast and wished we'd booked more than one...

The location and room (#16) were very quiet except for the squeaky floors - part of the charm of an old hotel (?). The room is VERY small and the bathroom even smaller with few bathroom amenities included. The little town is pretty, but be aware that this is a very quiet location. We stayed here because we were looking for...

Went here for dinner, overnight stay and breakfast, It was great! Recently Michelin starred restaurant lived up to our expectations with very delicate food and with surprisingly good wine pairings. Great breakfast as well. Very kind and knowledgeable staff and the surroundings is of particular beauty with a natural scenery and a view from the restaurant, that you will not...

Visited Hotel Frederiksminde for a romantic weekend and was not let down. The hotel is brought back to it's 19th century splendor while steel keeping up with modern ameneties. The star of the show is however the breakfast - lovely bread, cheese, juices and cereal served overlooking the ocean. I will never miss it! Front staff is charming and helpful,...

We have many fond memories from our third visit in mid-March 2016, and strongly recommend that you pamper yourself by staying at this charming hotel for a night or two. This is a small country hotel beautifully situated overlooking Præsto Fjord and with a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Michelin recently awarded the restaurant with a star and it’s well-deserved....
