The hotel is comfortable with modern decorated rooms. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are sound proofed. It far enough from the road so no noise. The hotel is at a comfortable distance from Salamanca with its beautiful historic center and at the end of the day you can play some tennis or enjoy the pool

Random stop while driving from Bilbao to the Algarve. Over the years we have stopped at some horrors on the same road. So what a joy the Cuarto Calzados proved to be. Place was heaving on a Tuesday lunch. Seemed a mixture of locals and drivers. Both chose from the Menu of the Day. My starter of pasta with three...

Spent an enjoyable and comfortable night here en route from Bilbao to Gibraltar. Just a couple of minutes off the motorway in a quiet village. Very welcoming of our dog, 1st floor double room with small balcony was fine. WiFi good, only real issue was lack of sound proofing. Could clearly hear other guests walking along tiled corridors, unlocking rooms,...

Tiny rooms that could be a little bit cleaner but for one night it is definitely ok. Very good price and 24h reception. Not far from the highway, perfect for a quick stopover in the region. Front desk personal friendly but only speaks English.

We have stayed here on several occasions and have 2 small dogs. The bedrooms are spotless, the food excellent and the staff are very friendly even though our Spanish is embarrassingly bad. We have found it the best Hotel to break up the journey either from France to Southern Spain or from the Ferry . Just leave the motorway at junction...

Family run hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful, using some Portuguese /Spanish managed to get by.The daughter speaks very good English so when something is not understood they call her, very charming girl. Room was clean, small bathroom but adequate for the one nights stay. Small balcony with a nice view. Dog friendly hotel, as we were meeting...

This was our second stop over on the 2,000 km ride from northern France to southern Spain. It was a little tricky finding it off the motorway, but we're glad we did. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and our room clean and lovely, with a big double bed. Dogs are allowed in your room, so this was just what...

This is the third time we have stayed at this small hotel and each time we visit they have made improvements on the decor. The rooms are simply furnished, but spotlessly clean and the room rates are extremely reasonable. We use this small hotel because it is 2 minutes from the motorway and because it has an excellent restaurant. It...

I stayed here as a lone traveller. I arrived around 11pm, I was welcomed by a very friendly lady, all I needed was a quick check in and that's what I got. The room was very rustic and by that I mean exactly what I would expect of a rural Spanish B&B. Comfortable bed, small bathroom but perfectly formed. I...
