We had four nights at the BW with our dog ( first hotel visit with a dog and all was well). Great to have secure free parking on site, a wonderful park next door to dog walk each day, lots of local restaurants to eat at and a great location for tourist sites. Took us about 25 minutes to drive into the centre of Modena, 25 mins to drive to the Ferrari museum in Maranello and 25 minutes to the Pagani museum. Breakfast was restricted array due to covid enforcements, but still good to have included. Outdoor seating area was good and our dog was very welcome. Didn't use either of the pools, but both looked good and the outdoor pool was large, in a lovely garden and there was also a bar and snack bar in the grounds, along with a couple of smaller pools. Wifi included and at least four stations to charge up electric cars. All the reception staff were attentive and helpful.

Had a great long weekend in Modena. The family room was comfortable for all 4 of us and the amenities (particularly the pool) made this an enjoyable stay. Breakfast wasn't bad for 8 euro but it also didn't blow us away. With covid restrictions the breakfast area also became fairly crowded so they would restrict entries during the busy times. The outdoor pool was nice but cold, and the indoor pool was warmer and the kids really enjoyed it.

We like BW hotels; you know what you’re getting before you get there. We would use them a lot but in Italy they are rarely convenient for car travelling - always in the centre of cities, no good parking and miles from the motorway you’re using.
This one is different though. Close to the A1, secure car parking and accessible rooms (particularly the suites, which have little kitchens, a garden and a sofa to lounge on. Alas, the kitchens have no equipment whatsoever so you need to be prepared.
The adjacent restaurant is very good; I had a gorgeous tartare with Parmesan and balsamico.
The staff were excellent (shout out to Ylenia) and we had a stress free stay.
Highly recommended for travellers. Maybe not so much for your summer holidays though!

It look nice , at the first glimpse , sadly , I am asthmatic, and the room inside was very dusty , it triggered me allergy , the pool is nice , a little bit old, not as fancy like not the picture , the water was cold and have so much chlorine. For me , I think that the main problem is the ventilation ducts , the air is so dusty ! I am angry because we are a family of 7 , we pay two rooms it was expensive for what we got as service , and my oldest girl and myself got really bad with the allergy . The bathroom of one of the rooms was infested with ants ! All the time we have to clean . The kids area , there’s a room for the children to play, it’s so messy and smell so bad , si didn’t leave my children play there .
It looks that the cleaning is superficial , the Best Western Plus Hotel Modena Resort need to invest in a real cleaning action , and renew some areas , if that’s not the case , definitely not recommended to asthmatics or people with allergy of dust . Much better stay in a AIRBNB!

We had originally booked 2 nights accommodation in the centre of town as we were travelling by train and wanted to experience life in the centre of Modena. Unfortunately our B&B in the centre had double booked us and the nearest available accommodation at short notice was here (approx. 5 miles out of town). I’m sure it’s a great place to stay if you have a car and want to explore the area. However being without a car we had to pay for taxis into and out of town which took about 15 mins and cost about €20 per journey. This was inconvenient but the main issue was the lack of taxis. The hotel very kindly ordered taxis into town but it proved very difficult to get a taxi to bring us back. We gave up in the end and had to spend the final evening in the hotel’s restaurant rather than experiencing the nightlife in the town centre as planned.

After a long drive we needed an hotel and we visited this one. They told us they only one room left and it was a suit wich was a little bit more expensive, but allright. After the people behind the counter discussed a bit in italian they told us to pay in advance, wich was allright but not regular. During dinner ( elsewere ) we talked about the room price being a little bit high and checked the website out of curiousity wat all the rooms costed. The website showed regular rooms, not suites, for farr les money, open for booking the same night. Later in the evening the airco would not turn on when we were to go to bed and after a visit to the reception they turned it on from there. Bathroom was oke, showerhead amazing but flooded the whole bathroom. We felt not very welcome, had the feeling of being lied to, the rest was oke, not great, not for the money.

Nice enough swimming pools but pool area rather tired and unloved looking. Staff polite but miserable, nobody smiles and everything is a problem and will cost you 40 euros. Wanted to stay a couple of extra hours after checkout as we had a late flight, and worried about children in the unexpected 40 deg heat wave .. to be in the of outside area for a few hours cost us €42 .. or the indoor pool when we were also obliged to purchase their hats (at another €40 !)
Cappuccinos nice at breakfast but food options could be better - didn’t a feel like a 4 star experience to be honest.

It's important to note that, as clearly indicated on both our website and Booking.com, access to the outdoor swimming pool is not included the day of departure. We also reiterated this information during your check-in process. Should you wish to enjoy the swimming pool on the departure day, an additional fee is applicable. Furthermore, we observed that you made use of the indoor swimming pool, where the use of swim caps is mandatory. This requirement is clearly stated on our website and Booking.com as well. Regrettably, we noticed that the swim caps were not worn consistently throughout your stay, despite our repeated verbal reminders and the presence of informational signs in the swimming pool area. While we do offer swim caps for purchase at our hotel, we wish to clarify that it was not obligatory to buy them on-site. Hotel is far from the Modena town despite the name. It takes 20 min by car. Also the pools close very early even in summer: we were summoned by the staff to vacate the pool from 7pm. The breakfast is very simple with a small area that becomes crowed at rush hour. Also many dishes were empty and taking lot of time to replenish: on a few days I didn’t get eggs nor cheese or ham.

Stayed 3 nights while touring the region. It was great to come back after a full day to enjoy the beautifully landscaped pool.
Rooms were large and spotlessly kept. Hotel consists of one two story building and one single level building alongside.
Breakfast is fantastic, with a make your own juicer available and a big selection of both hot and cold items.
What really made the stay great were the people. All helpful and really wanting you to enjoy the hotel offerings, as well as local area. Hope to return one day!

Stay at this hotel a couple of weekends now and have to say what an excellent hotel. Very good rooms and facilities and the WiFi is one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. The indoor pool is very good as well as the onside gym and the bat is reasonably priced and stocked. The breakfast has very good selection to cover nearly everybody's takes.
Look forward to staying again and in the summer so I will be able to use the outside summer facilities as well.
