My boyfriend and I visited the very charming region of Piemonte during the month of August and stayed at Casa di Maio for 4 nights. We had a fabulous time: our host, Doreen, is such a wonderful and welcoming person. She made sure we were at ease the second we arrived and offered us Prosecco & antipasti upon our arrival.... More

We came to Casa di Maio with a wish to experience the countryside of the Asti region. The cod festival in Octobre with the mix of norwegian cod and the Asti redwine in Agliano Terme was our first interest for this region. The festival we have to visit next time. Loreen welcomed us with surprisingly spumante and anti pasti. What... More

We stayed at Casa di Maio for three nights in October. What an outstanding experience! The setting is gorgeous, on a quiet hill outside Agliano Terme. The building itself is an old farmhouse from 1888 that has a been perfectly restored. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with large bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Doreen, the proprietress, goes above... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa di Maio for an entire week on our anniversary trip to Piemonte. It was perfect; Doreen is very friendly and helpful and she's an amazing chef. We ate at some of the best restaurants in the region and I can tell you that Doreen's breakfasts were among the best... More

Me and my partner braved driving on the wrong side of the road a second time to return to the beautiful place that is casa di maio. Doreen is amazing, her taste is impeccable, her service is sensational and her helpfulness knows no bounds. She arranged the best private wine tasting we have ever had in our lives for us... More

My sister and I arrived here after the hurly burly of several citiesthroughout Italy (which we loved) to a lovely welcome by Doreen and much needed refreshment looking over the vineyards...we thought we had arrived in heaven...we had. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, the tranquility was divine and Doreens attention to our needs: maps, water for our outings, beautiful... More

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of spending two nights here in August... It's difficult to know where to begin....the B&B is in a truly beautiful setting a few minutes outside a small town (Nizza Monferrato) and the property looks out over vineyards. The room was really well designed and completely spotless. The bathroom had a luxury feel... More

Returned to Casa di Maio for another night a couple of weeks ago - every bit as good as I remember. Doreen as wonderful a hostess as ever (thanks for doing my laundry!) The antipasti selection presented on arrival had grown in variety and quantity - more cheeses, tomato, basil and mozzarella salad, olives and anchovies ... I didn't need... More

It is hard to write this because when you only have wonderful things to say it can sound silly. However, I just stayed five nights at this beautiful b&b and it is the best place I've ever stayed at.
