I stayed in Tharu 20for7 with a friend for 3-4 days in November after trekking the Annapurna Circuit and we could not have had a better time. Everyone was so incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming and made us immediately feel part of the community. We experienced and took part in traditional Tharu ways of life, such as fishing in the...

We have been at Tharu20for7 for a week and we felt so much at home with our family of 5. They have a great family room but what is by far the best is the friendly and welcoming hospitality of the Tharu community... Our host, Sukram, was amazing and so were all the other members of the Tharu family. We...

We spent three days staying in the village and they were the best days of our wonderful trip to Nepal. We were met at the bus station by Sukram with the Oxcart and had a beautiful journey across to the village where the women greeted us with flowers and the warmest of smiles. Our welcome set the tone for the...

We spent a wonderful afternoon at this village and wished we had longer. A range of activities were available but we opted for a farm and village tour followed by Nepalese cooking lessons; dal bhat of course! A lovely, friendly village where the accommodation looked very clean and comfortable. They are doing a good job and are trying succeed with...

I have been to the Tharu 20 for 7 village 3 times and can't speak highly enough of it. The village is run in a traditional Tharu way and teachers its guests how they live, eat, fish, cook and celebrate festivals. Visitors here are fully immersed into a Nepali way of life and can learn all the workings of the...

Tharu 20for7 is beautifully secluded in a quiet and traditional village, where you can become part of village life. Everyone who runs the guest house is so friendly and welcoming, with a really relaxed open plan so that you can join in with whichever activities you fancy. Not only are all the activities great, they are nothing like anything you...

After entering this Tharu village, you will wish you could stay longer. Sukram, Paro, and the villagers will capture your heart in this community. It is a rustic, throwback, authentic way of living, that makes you appreciate the simple gestures in life. There is plenty to do whether it's henna, ox riding, elephant and jungle rides, to playing with the...

Wow! Best part of my Nepal holiday was coming here. I wanted to really experience life like a villager and immerse myself in their way of life and was not disappointed. Sukram and the girls picked me up in the ox cart for the brief journey to Gothauli village. I was greeted by the whole family and felt like royalty...
