It is eccentric. A house that belonged to the founder of the local distillery, now owned by Tony and Helen and stuffed full of random antiques, that all seem to work. The highlight is undoubtedly Tony's cooking, which was of the highest quality to match anything in Scotland. Equally as important, they are lovely, welcoming people

We were booked in as we walked the speyside way and we rated it the best place we stayed in during our 5 day walk. The rooms were lovely and spacious with different characters. The welcome from Helen and her family was very kind and helpful. The food was to die for. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

We stayed here while walking the Speyside Way and it was a magical stop. On arrival, Helen Allcott took all our wet gear to the boiler room so that it would be dry the next day. Our room was amazing, with a turret and the longest bath I have ever seen. The whole house was tastefully decorated and very comfortable...

We stayed here for one night while walking the Speyside Way, arriving soggy after a downpour. The welcome was kind, our shoes and waterproofs taken for drying, the room was amazing (the turret room, described in someone else's review) and the dinner one of the best and most memorable we have ever had. It really could not have been better...

We love this place! We were lucky to have discovered it when we were at the Speyside Whisky festival 10 years ago, and made our reservations a year in advance of our recent trip to ensure that we could stay here again. We stayed here a week. We love Tony and Helen. He is a gregarious guy, with a fast...

Had a night here as part of the Speyside Way booked through Easyways. It was a real delight. We had the lovely turret room and dinner in house. The house is decorated in original Victorian style and the dinner and breakfast were wonderful. Very attentive and welcoming hosts.

This is a superb B&B! The house is lovely (originally built for the owner of the distillery which is handily situated at the bottom of the garden) with big open rooms and grand high ceilings. We had a very warm welcome from the owners Helen and Tony before being shown to our room - we had the turret room which...

Helen and Tony have a lovely house and their welcome was first class. Helen's thoughtful attention to detail plus Tony's superb cooking (you'd be foolish not to have your dinner here!) make visiting this B&B a must!

This has to be one of the best weekends away I have had in a long time! Beautiful countryside, EXTREMELY hospitable owners (Mr & Mrs Alcott) & the food is excellent. Very well placed to access the Speyside Way / Whisky trails. Mr Alcott is an award winning chef and to be honest, you really cannot go wrong having a...

10 out of 10. We arrived late and the owners were very understanding. We were shown to our room which was so beautifully laid out and well kept. A unique fire was burning away in this cosy and elegant room. We slept very well and in the morning were treated to simply the best vegetarian / vegan menu ever. What...
