Stayed there for the one night as was cycling in the Peak District pioneer. Wish I could have stayed longer to get a better look around the place. Brilliant room, very clean with excellent facilities. Downside is the hill to the top, but it is the Peak District. Definitley recommend for a weekend stay.

The hotel is in an amazing area with views that are to die for, however the photographs only show the main building. We were located in the Mews (probably the servant quarters in another life) a steep walk up the driveway. The room was long with no more than 30cm either side of the bed so with just enough space...

I loved my stay here, even with the couple of negatives I have about the place. It was such an enjoyable stay I could easily overlook any issues. The view from this hotel is lovely and there are walks you can take in and around the grounds that are equally wonderful. My room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and tidy....

The Willersley Castle Hotel is such a beautiful, grand building. It is situated amongst lush green countryside. We stayed here for just one night. We were welcomed by friendly staff. The room itself wasn't great. It did need a lot of decorating and updating. However, we both had an excellent nights sleep which is the most important thing. Breakfast was...

I had a single room.Very much in need of a makeover!.Peeling wallpaper chipped paint and old furniture. The bathroom was larger than my bedroom but was equally tired. The hot tap was difficult to use and there was a bath but no shower of any kind.An all round depressing place to sleep. On the plus side the staff were generally very pleasant...

Booked a two night stay through Booking.com On arrival was told by a snooty receptionist that she has not been informed that the rooms are ready for check in. Been advised to return at 15h00. On checking in we were informed that we have to change rooms in the morning, as booking.com can not book a room for two consecutive...

I booked this hotel last minute for an overnight stay but wish we could have stayed longer. The grounds and the views are amazing, with the lovely village of Cromford a short walk away. We were in a double room in the mews which was comfortable enough although next time we will request a room in the main hotel. Breakfast...

Booked one room for me and my girlfriend, didn't realize the room is not in the "castle" but in the old stables, now fancily called the Mews. Think the establishment looked and smelled better as a stable. Room was smaller than my coat, I swear I sneezed once and thought the windows will blow up. Just to add to that...

Called in for sunday lunch. What a disappointment. ! We were given one piece of beef which was like shoe leather, one frozen tiny yorkshire pudding, one tiny disc of stuffing 2 roast potatoes, one teaspoon of gravy with carrots and green beans which tasted raw. The whole meal was luke warm and tasteless. My partner . ( who is...
