So we booked this place as we wanted to take our Dog with us for a change and they were pet friendly.
We checked in at 2pm on the Friday and the owner was very friendly and approachable.
I’ve nothing bad to say about the room except it’s a shame there was no seating in the room and didn’t enjoy having to use the bed to sit on which didn’t have any coasters under the wheels so kept moving away from the headboard.
Had a fridge, kettle, microwave, cutlery small plates and bowls. A tv.
Shower was nice
Only issue we did find was the lights lit up every area of the room when operated. So say I got up in the night to use bathroom. If I put bathroom light on the bedroom light came on also waking up the other person.

Will return thou

Our destination motel was fully booked so we stayed for one night at the Pacific Palms. The check in was a bit of a muddle, took a bit too long though the owners where friendly enough. The office was tiny and I felt like I was stepping back in time. A refurbish or refresh would have made a better first impression. Though there was café etc a block or so away it was on a fairly busy road and I was tired and not looking forward to another drive in search of dinner. I wasn't sure whether the pool was operational at the time...I wasn't told and I didn't ask. My daughter didn't like the location or ambience of the place. I thought it was okay. The bedspreads were heavy and gaudy coloured. The room did not smell as fresh as I would have liked. It was very basic room but it did the job for one night. There were a few flaws in the toilet and bathroom area, the toilet pedestal was not bolted to the flaw properly and the sanitary bin was smelly so I sprayed my perfume in it to freshen it up a bit. I was concerned that there was going to be a drama with the loo so I was particularly careful using it. I had to wait for the manager to check the room before we entered...this should have been done prior to our arrival We were booked in well in advance. It took nearly 45 minutes to get into the room. Too slow! I noticed that there was not that many rooms at this location and I think the place would be better run as a B & B rather that a motor inn. Some room service with some simple fare such as toasted sandwiches etc would have been welcome. I don't think it is being managed to its full potential.

Relatively old and in need of an update but clean and all you need for an overnight stay. Microwave and basic utensils. Price is right at $88.

Booked a room based on closest motel with a vacancy to MRY airport (around 2Kms away). My experience echoed most of the recent reviews. The property is basic in every respect. It served as a comfortable bed for the night, but little more. The rooms are largish, but with 1970's style (brick walls), with oddly placed lighting, and very dated furnishings. No minibar. Linen and towels are fresh & clean. Windows unable to be fully closed, so road noise & cigarette smoke from neighbour came in. The wifi wasn't working. Parking is tight, and impossible I imagine for any large vehicles. This is a non-staffed property with keys in coded boxes (although my key was in the door). Oddly, they do not offer courtesy transport to the airport, which meant added expense to the already steep rate of $175 per night. There's no restaurant for breakfast. Overdue for a total revamp.

Small double bed
The single is on wheels so it rolls everywhere.
Ceiling down lights don’t work making room dark & dingy with only the warm low-light bed lamps to see by, & can't open curtains fully for natural light.
Electrical wires sticking out of wall where a wall light used to be.
Tissues or something stuffed in cornice gaps!
NO working Wi-Fi !!! (And a rude note about this fact).
No water pressure in shower (cold tap very seized up)
Ceiling fan controls only work the fan on High or Off, so can’t really use it.
Air Conditioner struggled somewhat.
No ice tray
$190/night
Busy road
Hard to collect dog droppings from LONG grass!
Dirty curtains but if they wash them, they’ll fall apart.
To top it off they change towels on days 3, 5, 7 etc & if you ask for an extra one its $2, plus there are no beach towels in the room for the pool !!
If I had booked through an accomodation site I’d be asking for my money back.
False advertising with no wi-fi.
Didn’t bother bringing any of this to the owners attention due to reading other reviews where doing this has been a waste of time & clearly no changes or upgrades have been made since those complaints were made anyway. We wore the cancellation cost if $190 & went elsewhere. It won’t bother her though coz some other poor person has re booked these feral rooms so she continues to wrip people off.

We needed last minute accomodation and booked this place around 6pm as most places we tried were fully booked. Arrival and key pick up was easy. Into the room and there is a queen and single bed. The queen has sagged in the middle and was unusable for two people, so I ended up sleeping on the single, wife on the queen (in the middle). Long day on the road, looking forward to a hot shower…guess what, NO HOT WATER! Went to make a cuppa and the milk in the fridge was off! Smelly horrible! Not happy, but no one around to make a complaint as reception well and truly gone home for the day. Room smelt bad like there had been dogs inside. 0930 next day and still no hot water for a shower. Plumber is on the way apparently. This place I would avoid. Offered us a $20 refund!

We visited here in late December 2019. We had a dog and it was impossible to find accommodation that allowed dogs! This place offers pets and the rooms are still absolutely spotless even though they allow pets. The pool was also fantastic and a great temperature.

Customer service was great
They were both so friendly!! The lady had great recommendations of where to go. The man helped us park our boat and also let us keep it there for the day. The prices were reasonable as well, considering that it was peak Christmas/ New Years season!

1/2 the downlights worked in each of the rooms. Holes in the back of the bathroom door. Water stains on the ceiling. Pool was murky. Could see the trail the pool cleaner had made in the pool, as the walls were brownish, and the path was more whitish. It was pretty awful. Was told it was swimmable, but I wouldn't. Staff were friendly enough. Bed was pretty well past its use by date, and each movement sent a wave across the springs, but the sheets were clean, and the bathroom (other than the hole in the back of the door) was decent and seemed renovated. For $198 even during school holidays is a bit too much to ask for. $110 sure. Not much more to say, other than, use this place as a last resort.

We have been coming to this motel for over 7 years. Totally disappointed in our visit this time there where power points that did not work. Lack of cleaning bathroom floor was dirty you had to change your own sheets and towels I believe there has to be a way to provide service in a safe manner due to coronavirus. Carpet at back of bed was dirty. We won't be coming back to this motel or recommending it.

Booking online was probably not the best thing to do.
1. Air conditioner didn't work. In fact all the wiring in room 5 was dodgy.
2. Room wasn't serviced on Saturday and the girl said she forgot.
3. Room was apparently serviced on Sunday but the covers were put on but the sheets were not tucked in or remade. Seriously?
4. The bed is that old and worn, you literally sink into the middle.
5. The cutlery and crockery haven't been washed for at least a month.
6. Pool is dirty.

Just really dissapointing and will never ever be back.

Yes they do just that the rooms are small if you have big family.
