We have been here a couple of times before BUT at our latest visit, which we were really looking forward to mainly because we come quite a distance to use, was a real let down. We sat for half an hour to give our order and waited another hour to receive our food. We do not like to eat late...

As I explained in response to your other review we did have an extraordinarily busy evening that was unexpected, and this did catch us out......I am sorry for this. If you are particular about what time you eat may I suggest booking a table in future...we always prioritise our bookings, we get a better idea of how many guests we...

A lovely pub set in a picturesque village. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the food was excellent. There was a great selection of draft beers and a superb gin collection! All at very reasonable prices.

We had looked at the menu on line and went for the large variety of fish but I was taken with the slow roasted belly park, black pudding and apple....

We took two rooms one with a king size bed and the other the family suite. Rooms fine with ensuite facilities. The views from the rear of the property are stunning and the food is not far behind! The party (four adults and two children aged 9 and 6) had two dinners and we enjoyed the food so much that...

Went without booking. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Managed to get a table in the restaurant part of the pub with a clear view of the beautiful area. The meals were well presented and really hot. Both meals were really superb. Will definitely be going again for Sunday lunch in the near future. It's a bit off the beaten...
