This place isn't easy to find and without our sat nav we wouldn't have managed in the dark. Thank goodness there was a huge sign at the end of the drive though. We arrived late and so there wasn't time to go to the village to eat where there are at least 3 places to choose from. The mill is...

I have stayed at Murcott Mill before, when I am visiting my grandmother in a care home in Daventry. Sadly her declining health meant I had to rush down to visit. I really appreciated the extra care and attention including the welcoming strong cup of tea on my arrival by a lovely fire. Room and breakfast was excellent as usual!

Stayed at Murcott Mill Farmhouse for one night whilst on a business trip to Rugby, which is approximately 25 minutes away by car. The location, views and surrounding countryside all make for an excellent, value-for-money, relaxing stay for any business traveller needing to wind down after a busy day. The accommodation is a charming old mill house, tastefully and comfortably...

I had to travel with work and my other half came along with the dogs. The surroundings and setting were beautiful, the breakfast and the rooms were great and very reasonably priced. However if you are going to offer accommodation as dog-friendly, then you need to be 'dog-friendly'. We arrived late after a long drive and were quite hungry. I...

This is a wonderful old house just outside Long Buckby in Northamptonshire. Rooms are sumptuous with a good selection of complimentary infusions and biscuits and the breakfast, cooked to order from excellent ingredients, is spot-on. We needed a good rest after a long bicycle ride and this place is so peaceful, we got one. Many thanks to Brian and Carrie...

Lovely welcome from the owner who showed me to my room on the top floor. The room had two single beds and ensuite with lovely views across the countryside and on the back to the gardens. Everything you would expect, tea and coffee making and usual toiletries which a lot of places now do not supply. The bed was comfortable...

The breakfast was excellent. The host was really kind, helpfull and lovely. We bought our little dog and she loved it. This is...

I am fairly local to Long Buckby, but needed somewhere quiet and peaceful for a short Micro Break. Murcott Mill Farmhouse was just exactly what I was looking for. A big beautiful house, full of period features. Beautifully decorated with very high quality furnishings. The whole house is spotlessly clean. My room was large, with a small en suite bathroom...

Such a lovely and charming place. Homely hospitality and a stunning setting in the countryside. We were in town for a wedding, but will definately be going back again soon for the company and atmosphere. Thank you very much!
