We stayed for three nights over the last May bank holiday with glorious weather. The room, whilst basic, is very comfortable with good amenities and clean. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were handy and much needed after a day's walking. Whilst we didn't eat at night here, the breakfast was fantastic every morning. However it's the views from this place...

Marvellous old house, swimming pool, food worth five stars, best breakfast I have ever seen in my life. I had a beautiful view on Loch Leven and mountains from room, very quiet, boot room and washing machine/dryer for drying your hiking gear. But: old and small bathroom with not enough water pouring from the shower. There is a bar and...

On a short break to Glencoe, Alltshellach did not disappoint! A beautiful 100 year old building with many of the original features, the welcome was warm and inviting. We had the most wonderful view of the Loch and surrounding mountains were still snow-capped. Our room was spotlessly clean with plenty of tea & coffee. Food was fantastic and we couldn't...

Lovely hotel on the banks of Loch Leven . Very relaxing place , a paradise for walkers , cyclist or outdoor pursuits to relax after day out . Food was served at one sitting and was excellent "home cooking " - the lamb was amazing . Bar, pool, hot tub & table tennis , fireside ....excellent ! Will return.

Stayed here for two nights walking with a group. When we arrived there had been some confusion over the booking, and we weren't expected, but they were very good about it, getting all the rooms sorted (for 25 people) within an hour of the first people arriving! My room was very clean, with a great shower and a comfy bed....

Our room was beautiful and clean, facilities were excellent. Pool and jacuzzi were such a treat and these facilities were quiet, too. Perfect location for walkers. Breakfast was lovely. Thank you to the very helpful and friendly staff.

We had a 4-night break in October. Accommodation great, food excellent and company in the evenings most enjoyable. Staff couldn't have been more helpful to all the guests. Often guided walking is on offer, or other courses, but we were in the low season and we made our own arrangements for activities. There was a lovely indoor swimming pool with...
