We stayed one night on our way from SW France to Murcia in Spain. A lovely quiet room in a very individual hotel. The owner is a very interesting man and very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again, and will recommend it to my friends.

Just off the motorway - Valencia to Zaragoza - is this little gem of a hotel. The owner is a great host and recommended a fantastic Asador to go and have dinner. The hotel is small but very well appointed. Can't believe some of the reviews ?? We thought it was a wonderful stop over . Have done the journey...

Arrived about 6 in the dark having asked several people how to find this remote spot. Navarrete is such a small hamlet and there appeared to be no one about and no cars. Quite spooky. Found the hotel and in the dark it looked large and very dark, we expected Count Dracula to open the door. The hotel was in...

The renovation of this property was quite nice, clean but it lacked something. It was very lonely as we were the only guests, we unaware until the next morning that the owner, who was pleasant, had not been there over night. At 50 euros we were not expecting a lot but were shocked at 10 euros for each dog, even at...

Arrived to find a note on the front door with no. To call to get access. Then discovered restaurant was closed despite having checked 4 days earlier that we could eat in it. We were directed to a bar next door, who advised us they don't do food in the evening. No hot drinks or even a bottle of water...

Had seen it before passing through that area, just off the motorway in a tiny village. Quite intrigued reading reviews on Tripadvisor so we had to give it a go! Interesting building and furnishings, not as old as it looks? Church bells do ring regular but no problem really to us. Ate in the bar/restaurant, nothing fancy but good enough....

We were travelling from Murcia towards the Pyrenees with our small dog and stayed one night at the Rincon De Navarrete. It's an hotel that's full of character and well worth a stay. Rincon de Navarrete in a small hamlet and is reached by a drive of about 10Km from the larger town of Calamocha. Our drive there, in the...

Stopped here on way from Santander to Alicante. On leaving the Autoroute, began to wonder where we were going, as eventually arrived in very small community, and massive church. For information, come from Calamocha and on entering village square turn right. Hotel is 50 Metres on left. Think it was probably residence of lord of the manor. Rooms were huge,...

Stayed overnight to break a road trip. As per a previous review the hotel was locked up when we arrived and there was a note on the door asking us to call a mobile which we did and the proprietor turned up within a few minutes. Beautiful room although the water was just tepid - but as the temperature outside...

We eventually found the hotel in spite of the unhelpful map. It is a little gem with helpful staff who speak little English. We enjoyed a good value 3 course meal in the restaurant. When we settled down into bed we began to hear two sets of church bells, both chiming each hour (a couple of minutes apart!) and one...
