One of many hotels located in the very popular seaside town with a touch of the gold coast look but a more older version. The Hotel itself is conveniently located to a lot of the town's attraction including the pier and promenade. The room are comfortable but need some updating as it is still catering for the older travelers rather...

Good hotel! A bit dated overall but the room itself was cosy, clean and warm. Ensuite bathroom was absolutely spotless and looked as though it had been refurbished recently. The shower was quite noisy but no big deal. The reception staff were lovely and helpful, the waiting staff were super polite and very professional. The breakfast was a little overcooked...

We have just returned from a 3 day break at the Lauriston. We have stayed before and had both good and not so good experiences but this rated as one of the best. Firstly, yes as some reviewers have pointed out the decoration is a bit shabby in places but so what it is immaculately clean. If you did not...

Like so many Seaside hotels, The Lauriston has seen better days. This one however, is a bit of a find ! With helpful staff, good food, comfortable rooms and a well stocked bar, it knocks so many other hotels right out of the picture. On-site parking is a real bonus, and the ramped access is great. What sets this hotel...

I have to say that although we didn't stay we popped in for a drink with my two dogs. The staff were attentive and welcoming and the hotel had an amazing atmosphere Met some lovely residents and their dogs. A unique hotel with a welcoming feel that needs to be protected.

Really lovely hotel for the price. Rooms were a little dated but kept clean and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the hallways on the ground floor but nothing that would put you off of staying here. The bed was a little hard for my liking but managed to sleep through 7 hours so can't have been that...

We were astounded at the amount of help we were given, the hotel was originally set up to cater for blind and partially sighted people but welcomes all. We travelled with our pet dog and the wellcome to him was as gracious as it was to us.

We booked two double rooms here for a well-worked-for overnighter with a friend and two dogs. What a delightful place. A big clean box of dog towels at the front entrance and a bowl of drinking water. So much needed after a beach run (which incidentally is ony 100 yards away from the hotel). In our room were clean dog...
