I have to say that although we didn't stay we popped in for a drink with my two dogs. The staff were attentive and welcoming and the hotel had an amazing atmosphere Met some lovely residents and their dogs. A unique hotel with a welcoming feel that needs to be protected.

Really lovely hotel for the price. Rooms were a little dated but kept clean and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the hallways on the ground floor but nothing that would put you off of staying here. The bed was a little hard for my liking but managed to sleep through 7 hours so can't have been that...

We were astounded at the amount of help we were given, the hotel was originally set up to cater for blind and partially sighted people but welcomes all. We travelled with our pet dog and the wellcome to him was as gracious as it was to us.

We booked two double rooms here for a well-worked-for overnighter with a friend and two dogs. What a delightful place. A big clean box of dog towels at the front entrance and a bowl of drinking water. So much needed after a beach run (which incidentally is ony 100 yards away from the hotel). In our room were clean dog...

I have been visiting the Lauriston Hotel since 1995 and have just returned from another 8 day holiday. As usual, I had a most comfortable, relaxing stay, well looked after by the admirable staff. For their sakes, It is hoped the future ownership of the Hotel is sorted out sooner rather than later.

Very pleasant hotel in good traditional style. Our spacious double room overlooked the seafront which was lovely . This hotel is firstly for partially sighted guests but also for anyone with slight disabilities. It is also ideal for older travellers if they like a quiet atmosphere. The dining room is very well staffed and breakfast on the Sunday morning delightful.

Have stayed at this Vision hotel a number of times in the past 6 years. We had usually found deals at a reasonable price and have taken dogs before. They are set up for looking after Guide Dogs. I was shocked to find that we were charged and extra £12 per night for taking 2 dogs with us! OK -...

Thank you for your review I am sorry that you found the price charged for 2 pet dogs too high. We are one of the only hotels in Weston-Super-Mare that allows pet dogs into our public areas excluding the restaurant.
