Held our university reunion here and can't fault the hotel. The food was excellent, the bedrooms beautiful and lounge bar cosy. The staff couldn't have been more helpful despite 30 of us taking over the hotel! Highly recommended for couples, groups and small weddings.

Initially, I thought that Banchory was an unusual choice for our reunion, however once there at the hotel, it was ideal. The rooms are spacious, with magnificent views in the morning! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sampling their range of G&Ts beside a lovely roaring open fire really started our night off. Good food, lovely hotel, but the...

I stayed here with my family for two days in their junior suite . The room was very big and very good if you're staying with family. The breakfast and the dinner both were quite good and had a lot of variety. The people were very helpful and couldn't do better to make our stay more beautiful. Nice place if...

We attended a wedding here last weekend. From entering the lobby in the morning of the wedding to leaving the next day, we did NOT have one complaint. The room was luxurious, spotless, the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in with beautifully soft pillows, the decoration is stunning. From my point of view as a guest the wedding...

Cracking little hotel and the best in Banchory, or for miles around for that matter. Friendly, obliging staff and always keen to help. I've stayed here a few times and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well decorated if not "oppulent". Great food at both breakfast and dinner (the serve great steaks). Plenty parking. Quite definitely a great wee hotel.

This hotel is just west of the centre of Banchory on the Deeside road, standing in an impressively raised position back from the road. The furnishings are 'Scottish baronial' ie a real mix of patterns and colours for the carpets & drapes. The food & service was excellent. There is a choice of eating in the bar or the main...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and found the staff very friendly and helpful; the room was lovely; the food was great and overall we couldn't fault the experience. We would definitely recommend the hotel to other travellers and would happily return ourselves.
