It was a bit of an unusual stay, in some ways good. The original 1870 building is only a small fraction of what has been added to since. The majority of rooms are in a 1970s? add-on. The room was clean but no information available on room service, check-out times, fire exits or anything else that's usually provided. The bed...

We singlestayed here on Friday 19th May after attending a wedding at the venue. It is a lovely, old hall but the bedrooms are desperately in need of renovation. Our bath had black mold all around the edges and a 1970s nylon shower curtain. The double bed was two zipped together which is fine but they were uneven heights which...

A Christmas treat. On arrival at this lovely looking hotel we were confused that there was no sign to reception. Once inside the hotel lobby was very impressive open plan reception doesn't work. The receptionist was not very professional chewing gum and couldn't find our booking. Eventually after an embassing ten minutes holding up the queue we were booked in....

Had a lovely stay the room was lovely and clean. Really impressed the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and very attentive. I purchased through Wowcher and was sceptical as it was only £99 for a nights stay ,3course meal and breakfast . It was lovely the grounds are beautiful I'd absolutely recommend. I hope to go back...

The hotel is an old converted country house which is in need of refurbishment. Our room was on the second floor and the only guidance given by the receptionist was 'up the stairs to the right' which turned out to be a trek of up stairs and down stairs and back up stairs. Later we found that there was a...

Came here as a surprise weekend break for my husband. On arrival we were asked to wait as our room was not ready. As there was a wedding going on. After no one came to call us for 30 minutes I went back to reception and was given our key. The room was nothing like I expected. Bit small but...

This is our second time here (although we had forgotten we had stayed here in 2012 until we pulled into the driveway!). There was a wedding on, which was a little disconcerting, but actually was not an issue at all, as the wedding guests and regular guests slotted in fine! Our room was pleasant, if a little bland. Would have...

We booked a wowcher deal so wasn't very expensive which was good as the room we were in was poor. There was a damp fusty smell which resulted in the windows being permanently open. The bathroom was functional but black mould around the bath which I hate it makes it look and feel dirty which it wasn't it was just...

I stayed in the hotel earlier this week and it was very good, I stay in hotels 2-3 nights per week and I would rate this in the top 5%, great location, very quiet (I suffer with PTSD) great parking, rooms well appointed, reception staff very polite, professional and friendly, breakfast was well cooked and presented, all in all as...
