Our stay at Hollin Hall was a belated Christmas Present from our Children. We had a lovely weekend away. The owners and staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Thank you to everyone.

We had a Groupon voucher to use, and found the hotel to be friendly and comfortable. We stayed just 1 night with friends. The hotel looks like its in the midst of re-decoration but the room we had was OK, very comfortable bed, bathroom looked a little tired. We had an evening meal, which was really nice, in a lovely...

Thank you to all the staff at the Hollin Hall Hotel for making our short break so relaxing. A wonderful real log fire greeted us and booking in was efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout the weekend. The homely feel was combined with some lovely old architecture and...

Driving through expensive Cheshire with their Bling and garish taste on show, to Hollin Hall which could be a bit of genuine class, once the refurb is complete as its got something new money hasn't got, understated quality. The hotel views are top drawer, the little reception desk is a nice touch (better than large foreboding chest high desks), a...

We booked a last minute stay at Hollin Hall and used it as a base to do some walking in the Peak District. On arrival we were informed the hotel was fully booked and we were unable to upgrade our room which was fair enough, we could see from the booking sheets that all of the guests had booked through...

We went on a Groupon deal and took our 4 month old German Shepherd dog Max too. Never thought it could be so nice a place which took dogs. Staff were so friendly and professional. They all loved Max and made our stay lovely. The food was amazing, (even Max took to the odd muscle in chilli sauce!). The hotel...

We've just come back from a lovely two night stay, courtesy of a 'Living Social Deal' offer. Very comfortable room and beautiful reception areas with comfy chairs. The food was really high quality, views magnificent, but the main selling point for this hotel was the excellent staff team. They worked so hard and were very friendly and welcoming. We will...

My husband and I stayed last Saturday evening on a groupon deal. The hotel has been well refurbished - still some comestic stuff i.e. window frames - but Rome wasn't built in a day. The evening meal was high quality and the staff attentive. The area is lovely and we did some lovely walks - also visited the pub in...
