Our room was very nice and had been recently modernised. There is a lovely lounge area as well for guests. It is an excellent location just a few...

We stay in hotels and guest houses quite often and sometimes wonder how some of the ratings are so high. However the high rating for Shelleven Guest House is well deserved. The accommodation, food, welcome, and helpfulness was excellent. Thank you Paul and Mary - you are excellent hosts. Will definitely stay here again when revisiting Bangor. Catherine Moore

Good parking with a short walk to Bangor Marina. First class Ulster breakfast to keep you going all day. Highly recommend for family visits or business.

An excellent B&B close to all amenities in Bangor. Very cosy and welcoming with a fantastic Ulster fry provided amongst other choices for breakfast. The proprietors were very accommodating, professional and friendly.

I had a very enjoyable stay which could not be faulted. Bed comfortable, bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean. The owners were very attentive even providing things not necessarily available. First class breakfast. Very comfortable traditionally and tastefully decorated residents lounge. Would I stay here again? You bet I would!

Excellent place if you travel to Bangor or region around. Run by a lovely couple. Their breakfast is superb (I am vegetarian and they did a veggie version of an Ulster fry!). The bed is faboulously comfortable. Very clean place all through.
