Frequently visit here as often as possible, Tish and Andrew who run the place are lovely, even to the point Andrew dropped us home (3km) after the meal to save price on taxi. The food is to die for, love the Steaks and specials.....price is great and the lovely atmosphere can be felt the minute you walk through the door....

Good spot to drop into we were there with out booking and did it have long to wait. The staff are efficient friendly and attentive. We just had the main course. Peppered beef and house burger really good not completely over powered with the pepper and burger was really tastes but my goodness the portions served were designed for the...

Anglers Rest was very friendly and had cozy atmosphere. The place was professionally clean and served fresh breakfast everyday. You can see beautiful Bangor Bay from the dining room. Gina and David were warm-hearted people and great hosts.

Anglers Rest was our last B&B after making the tour of Ireland...Bangor is a really cute town with the sea... anglers rest is the old type English house just in front of the sea... Gina sent us some photos by mail already before our arrival to show us our room and the sun :-) Gina is such a delightful person!...

Just spent 3 days in the best B&B this family has ever encountered. We did not pull the curtains as the seaview from our main bedroom had to be max enjoyed. We arrived before check in time and were given a place to store our luggage while we went out around Bangor. The luggage was in our room when we returned. Arrived early evening and the owner, Georgina, offered us hot drinks. Shown to room to leave luggage and given keys to B&B. Room was twin with 2 single beds, Wardrobe , drawers, desk and TV.
