We have stayed many times at Treffedian and recently took our son, daughter in law and 2 granddaughters aged 6 and 3. The children loved everything about the place - lovely family room with balcony, swimming pool, putting green and play areas. The children's tea at 5.30 was perfect for them. The food is brilliant and the staff very helpful....

This was about the fifth time that I have stayed at the Trefeddian, I had a single room at £102 a night dinner, bed and breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient as usual. The public rooms are pleasantly appointed. It was just a pity that the food in the evening was not up to it's previous high standard. My...

Not an easy hotel to define. Obviously justifiably popular with older folk, but just as capable of entertaining children as well. We stayed as three generations. Our room was comfortable with a good sea view. Our grandchildren (12 and 6) are used to formal dining and we all enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners. The food is good, the menu choice...

We were visiting the area & wanted a special night away, but needed to take our dog. Found The Trefeddian online. Very dog friendly. Fantastic site, really between the hills & the sea. Great seaview room, with balcony. Clean, good size, very nice ensuite. Well stocked bar. Food was fantastic. Service was perfect throughout. Will be back. Recommended.

Our second stay here, this time taking an elderly relative with us. We chose the hotel because we know from our previous stay that everything is geared up to allow someone with mobility limitations to have an enjoyable time and be able to move about easily (using a wheeled frame). The hotel has had some redecoration downstairs since last time...

Our friends were renting one of the houses the hotel owns, so we joined them for a couple of days. We ate in the restaurant once for dinner. Very friend,y staff. . Very efficient service, food was typical hotel food. Looked to be quite an elderly clientele, who like to eat early. The hotel is very large with lots of...

I visited this hotel/restaurant over the Easter weekend with my elderly aunt and son. Due to traffic my son and I were going to arrive late so the hotel very kindly agreed to accommodate us later than booked even though the restaurant had technically closed post lunch. Lunch is a fixed price with a limited selection but the quality! Our...

Really enjoyable visit. We stopped on the 4th Floor which is more expensive but worth the extra if you have children as there is more space. We also extended for one night which meant we had to move along the corridor by a couple of rooms but the staff were extremely helpful. Good to see the décor improvements in the...

A charming and well situated hotel set back from the beach of Aberdovey, lovely facilities and the staff were very friendly. The only thing that let it down was the food. We booked for dinner, bed and breakfast and the dinner was very disappointing, the chef must have been on a low budget, I would rather have paid more and...

We visited for a long weekend with our two young children, our first impressions were wow, but the first encounter made us rethink, after I booked in my family at reception as hubby stayed in car with children, I mentioned that my 2year old had been travel sick enroute and could they recommend a car valet, which they did, however...
