The bed we stayed in was so comfortable that I did not want to get out. Nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was delicious. The room was very bright and clean. It is also just a short stroll into town.

Warmest welcome, cleanest and most comfortable stay as you'll find anywhere. This was a return visit and since the last stay the front sitting room has been made available to guests and is very welcoming. Breakfast cooked to order was excellent.

Spent the "Race the Train" weekend at Aberdovey, and enjoyed the comfortable facilities at Cartref. Had a single room which was very well laid out with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast timing does not really allow you a lie-in, but as I was busy being a race marshal, it didn't matter. The breakfast choice was good, with more luxurious offerings if...

Fantastic place to stay! Great location near Aberdovey railway station and golf course. My room and shower-room very comfortable. The breakfast was great, and I particularly enjoyed the coffee. The interior design is very tranquil and pleasing to the eye, in my opinion. I have a poorly leg, however I found the stairs the my room easy to navigate, as...

I finally had a chance to make a three-day golf trip to Aberdovey and stay with Mike and Linda at the Cartref Guest House. I had the single room and the accommodation was everything one could ask, although of course the bed was a single bed (obviously) unlike in their other, larger rooms. Suited me just fine as a solo...

Have seen this place over many years and finally managed a one night stay with family. Friendly welcome from Linda & Mike with bara brith. Both rooms were spotless and nicely decorated. WiFi worked well. Good breakfast. Excellent b & b run to a very high standard & hard to find any negatives.

We have been visiting Aberdovey for many years but this is the first time we have stayed at the Cartref, which we found to be a beautiful Edwardian residence just a short walk from all village amenities. The house is immaculate, the rooms clean, comfortable and spacious. It was a joy to sit outside on the verandah or the lounge...

This is a lovely B&B and we would definitely stay here again next time we are visiting family in the area. We were met with a warm welcome from Mike who made us tea while we took up our cases. Having tea & Bara Brith on the verandah in the sun was a great way to start our mini break...
