Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dirty room, carpet was disgusting, towels were falling to pieces. Kettle in room didn't have a cable long enough to reach plug socket. I locked my room when I left for the evening but someone went in, closed the curtains and ate in there leaving bread crumbs everywhere. No one to complain to

Very sad. Previous alcoholic manager kicked all the doors in so they don't lock. Unironed bedding looks used. Sweet new staff but need to improve cleaning standards. I had to change room as urine on loo seat and dirty shower. (Very comfy bed.) One flickering light bulb out of the six ceiling lights worked. Student flat style breakfast ie small fridge with shared opened butter, sliced bread, jams. Basic cereals in containers otherwise very dubious hygiene. Manager needs to consider if they would pay £85 for this. The view is not enough

Negatives 1st as there so small. Room 9 needs a long mirror & the curtains hooking back on, neither worth loosing a star. More important. We have just had 2 nights here & had i read the reviews 1st i wouldnt have booked. Thank goodness i didnt. The hotel was spotless, the staff lovely and our room the pillows were just bliss. I had 2 lovely nights sleep. It was my Birthday & Jay pulled out all the stops. He had a banner across our bed. Got a cake and prosseco which he didnt have to & when i returned to the hotel that evening i had a tia Marie & coke which he gave me on the house. I thought that was so nice. We didnt have any issues but one or two of our big group asked for assistance & they say he delt with there requests obligingly. Yes this hotel is work in progress but rome wasnt built in a day . We all of our big group said they would return. It was a lovely hotel, so please give them a try ,make up your own mind & give this small buisness a chance. Thankyou once again you was lovely
