My wife and I stayed for one night whilst visiting friends. The hotel was a bit tired and dingy but seemed okay. Our room was large and comfortable with great views over the sea which was great. The disappointment came at breakfast, with customer service that can only be described as appalling. The waitresses treated us with a casual disregard,...

Firstly, the advertised free parking does not exist I had to keep topping up a pay and display to be able to park. The hotel didn't take any details from us at arrival, not even names, we could have been anyone! We were then taken to a separate building, they've obviously expanded and taken some rooms across the road, I...

We stayed in the two bed apartment which is part of the Hotel but across the road from it. It was ideal for our family of four to prepare for a nearby wedding and we had a very pleasant stay. We even had a good diagonal view of the famous Eric Morecambe statue and fantastic view across Morecambe bay.

How this 'hotel' has 4 stars is beyond me, I can only imagine the owner has created hundreds of accounts to get a good rating!! Firstly, they are falsely advertising free Wi-Fi, free parking and a lounge/bar. When we arrived, we asked a scruffy looking gentleman who worked in the hotel where the 'free car park' was, he proceeded to...

this hotel had some good reviews but i and my wife were not really fussed after our stay there ,rooms were adequate they were clean, if you are staying with a breakfast involved expect a long wait ,to be served and then getting your breakfast .

What a fantastic place to start our Way of the Roses, Coast to Coast cycling adventure. Liam and Leah were outstanding and exceptional hosts, so helpful, kind and generous. Nothing was too much trouble. They had storage for our bikes too. The Crown Hotel, was clean and comfortable, we had a 2 bedroom apartment which was fantastic. Breakfast was lovely....

We stayed here last night - the room had been advertised as a deluxe double. I wouldn't have called it deluxe at all and it wasn't worth £75 per night. We were housed in the annex. Plus points were it was spacious and the room was clean - it has been freshly painted and you could see the sea from...

We arrived to the hotel around 6pm and the door of reception was close. There was a note on the door and we had to call to the number written to contact someone that will come and will help you check you in. Just imagine that you don't have battery in your phone or that you don't have a British...

Fortunately we are both very fit people-otherwise the forty seven steps up to our room in the hotel's annex would have proved challenging to say the least. A really comfy bed and a lovely sea view but we had no hot water (apart from the shower) for the duration of our stay (overnight). We did report this during our stay...

My husband and I booked this hotel for a 2 night, mini break. Arrived to find the reception unmanned and a notice on the window telling us go to the sister hotel, down the road and advise them of our arrival. This we duly did and after a wait of 10 to 15 minutes, were, we were given free drinks,...
