We stayed here overnight, with our twins, for their birthday treat, a day out to Flamingo Land. The family room was great, the welcome very warm and breakfast was tremendous. We also managed to fit in a trip to Eden Camp the next day before heading home. All in all a fabulous weekend!

We have just spent 2 days here, whilst visiting relatives locally. Steve met us on arrival, gave us a form to write our breakfast request for the following morning. Steve showed us our room which was lovely and perfectly suitable for our needs. Steve put himself out in order to find dairy free products for us and nothing was too...

Toasty warm. Brilliant water pressure to shower. Access to good wifi service :) :) Lovely host. Excellent breakfast in a well decorated and clean...

We found this place by accident after discovering that Whitby was insanely overcrowded. Living in rural U.S., I wasn't used to the packed streets of the U.K., and Pickering and Barker Stakes were a nice reprieve. The lodge was extremely spacious compared to every other B & B I've visited in the U.K., spotlessly clean and WARM. The hot water...

Great location five minutes from town but absolute peace and quiet. Nice to walk the dog from the lodges along the lanes (there are paths and bridleways...

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting the area to catch-up with relatives. Excellent facilities in the rooms, including games/wine glasses/dvd etc, everything you could wish for. A nice welcome with a roaring fire. Breakfast was excellent - kippers were better than those served on the Queen Mary II.!

I had been working in Malton for a few weeks and stayed in a few different hotels, but I was glad to come across this. I stayed in a two bedroom lodge for cheaper than what the hotels had cost and this was far better and far more comfortable. The owner was really friendly and welcoming on arrival, and showed...

We stayed for two nights from Friday to Sunday so that we could ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway train to the Whitby Goth Festival. Steve and his wife were most welcoming. The room was comfortable and well furnished with an excellent spacious shower and the breakfasts were delicious. There are good entertainments around the farm and we wished...
