Spent a wonderful Christmas here 15 years ago, saw a Living Social voucher for 2 nights and booked for a trip down memory lane! We were not disappointed ! the property has changed hands a few times since our last visit and a lot of alterations have taken place. We had a pretty room on the side with windows either...

Me and my wife stayed here on the weekend of Fri 20/05 to Sun 22/05. We bagged an unbelievable deal of GBP £99.00 for 2 nights incl. breakfast and a FREE bottle of wine when dining in the restaurant on our first night. Usually when such deals are offered it is because the venue is struggling and possibly in decline....

Enjoyed 2 nights here on a Living Social Voucher deal. We were in a family room which was large and very light with a double and 1 single bed. No views unfortunately, but the room was very clean and quiet at the side of the property. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic views of...

Stayed here for two nights in May 2016. We stayed here last year also. The room we had was facing the front of the hotel and overlooking the village, great views. The room is small but clean, though a tickle with a long duster will get rid of some rather large cobwebs on the ceiling corners. Tea/coffee etc are provided,...

We were greeted by friendly, welcoming people (staff and friends) the second we arrived and things just got better and better. We were made to feel like long term friends during our stay, with nothing being too much trouble which I've never experienced before but it made me feel very valued as a guest. When we pulled up outside originally...

What a charming area of Yorkshire central to many destinations. On arrival the exterior belittles the inner comfort and friendliness of this Inn. The food menu is extensive, varied and priced reasonable. The staff are a very good team who are extremely efficient and friendly, we will be returning

Very spacious comfortable room - spotlessly clean. Excellent views, fabulous location and superb food. What's not to love? Welcoming log fire on arrival and very friendly staff. Free wifi in the bar area was a bonus.
