We visited for Sunday lunch in a party of 9 and the waiter who looked after us was brilliant. 2 small children and 2 dogs as well.The food was lovely and hot and we could not fault the service. Very patient and helpful.We were not the easiest lot to look after but he did it fantastically, would recommend anyday

Had a lovely meal with family at the white horse farm inn at Rosedale .The food was excellent and the staff and manager were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us .The pub itself is very cosy and well run ,service excellent in restaurant and the bar .The location is stunning with views over the hills and fields,be spectacular...

Stayed one night. Initially offered a room which had just been painted, with a strong lingering smell of paint, but the windows couldn't be opened to ventilate. Accepted another room which had been decorated a few days prior, with a window that opened, but again there was a very strong smell of paint fumes coming from it and the room...

Love it just our kinda place just wish I could get prices via website but seems it's not possible sadly the veiws are to die for the food yummy the rooms we stayed in on our 2 visits was lovely would love to go again

Fantastic roaring log fire reception, attentive staff and excellent food. Yorkshire at it's best. Good size car park. 5 minute walk into Rosedale plus many more walks . Ideally situated for Scarborough, Whitby and the North Yorkshire National Park. We will return.

we arrived on an Icy misty day and we were helped in with our bags, we were booked in and shown to our room. The room was immaculate and the bed was delightful. This is an absolute gem of a place. Beautiful location, lovely rooms, real log fires in the bar, and delicious plentiful food. what more could you want. We loved our stay, definitely need to return. :-)

room lovely, bed very comfortable, had best night sleep for ages, tea and coffee making facilities in room, and Yorkshire Tea! Balcony available for smokers who don't want to go to the front of the hotel first thing in the morning! If you are on a walking holiday this venue is for you, with plenty of walks and stunning scenery!...

We just stayed at white horse, and on the whole it was good, our room no5 had amazing views, but the floor was horrendous,the person who slept on right side, if they got out during night for a loo visit , the pipes under floor started clanging, and anytime anyone flushed aloo or used water, the sound reverberated around our...

Walked up the hill for dinner on a Saturday night, very welcoming owner and staff, lovely atmosphere and great menu and the food was excellent too, wasn't expensive either, highly recommend you visit if you are in Rosedale
