This is about the 19th year running that we have returned to Rains Farm for our family holiday. Always clean comfortable and well equipped, Lorraine the Owner is so friendly and helpful too. I couldnt recommend the holiday any more :)

An idyllic place for a complete break from a busy life. Views across the Yorkshire hills. Good restaurants nearby....and a full romantic cottage with all mod cons in a courtyard. We will be back for a second visit.

This is a very clean well equipped 3 bedroomed cottage in beautiful surroundings. Off the beaten track but with easy access to the main roads to the coast and the moors. Very friendly and helpful owner.

It says on your website and i quote; "Some great reasons to stay at Rains Farm! Amazing location with panoramic views, very peaceful setting amidst beautiful unspoilt countryside." Can you please tell me if you intend to remove this statement once fracking gets underway? (Not that i think for one minute that it will!!) Do you seriously believe that up to 50 articulated lorries a day for months counts as "very peaceful setting"?! Do you seriously believe that the countryside will remain "unspoilt"?! Your B&B looks beautiful and it will be a great shame if the land surrounding it is destroyed by fracking pads, gas wells and don't forget the compressor stations and such like. I would say they will be quite a blight on OUR countryside. Good luck with bookings once Third Energy are finished with you.
