Cropton Forest Lodge is a unique holiday destination, certainly far from the crowds and yet within easy reach of the popular North York Moors attractions and the superb Yorkshire coast. We chose this as a place to unwind and do something completely different and walked every day in the tranquil forest. The cottage was very well equipped and beautifully presented....

We booked our stay at Cropton Forest Lodge after reading excellent reviews on the Internet. We weren't disappointed! From the moment we arrived, receiving a very warm welcome & tour of our cottage from Ben, to our departure, it was a privilege to stay in such luxurious & well appointed accommodation. Willows End was spotlessly clean & superbly equipped. Ben...

It is a measure of their high standards that it took no time at all to install us in Brock Cottage. We loved Brock Cottage - it had everything we could wish for and...

We stayed in Middlehead Cottage and I can only say just how wonderful our holiday was. With a 15 year old, a 12 year old and a crazy Labradoodle, the tranquility of the location was just what we needed. Long walks in the most beautiful countryside and returning home to watch the Olympics in front of the log burning stove...

Just returned from a weeks stay (July 28th - Aug 4th 2012) at Willows End cottage. Our first impression was how clean everything was. Sue and Ben helped us unload the car and showed us round. Sue said to ask midweek if we wanted fresh towels. Our two daughters were delighted to be able to have a bathroom each! The...

We stayed in May 2012 in Cropton Forest Lodge and really enjoyed the cottages and location. The cottages are finished to the highest standard we have ever seen, they were immaculately clean and the owners were very friendly. The location is stunning and would suit anyone looking for a peaceful week in the North York Moors. They were also very...
