Another super, comfortable weekend at Hungate. Always welcoming, comfortable houses with log fires. Plenty of good places to eat in the area and it is perfectly placed to visit Moors, Dales or Coast. A trip on the steam railway is a must !

Stayed in the Glaisedale cottage for 3 nights in November, there were 4 adults, a 4yr old and a baby. It was wonderful. The cottage is very well appointed, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single room. Lots of storage, the kitchen held everything you needed and the cottage was extremely clean. We visited for our usual week at Hungate for the war weekend. Gerry has now retired but still came to see us there. His daughter and son in law have taken over and are doing a great job. There is so much to do and see in the vicinity, and Pickering is a great base with everything you need. We have stayed in Hungate Cottages before, and would return again as our first choice accommodation. Good, quiet location but...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property, easily one of the best we have ever stayed in! It was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our stay, & a very nice touch was a lovely vase of flowers to put a finishing touch.
