Paid £69 for a super clean twin room. All linen was gleaming, surfaces clean and floors hoovered. Breakfast was pretty standard but he staff were very attentive. Sat on the bed which had a collapsed mattress and a loud cracking noise came from the divan base. Made no difference as it was still comfy but wouldn't spend a month on...

Refurbishment work is ongoing at this hotel, so some effort is being made to improve, but it still has a long way to go before it gets a better than average rating from me. This is a pity because the location for touring visitors is ideal, being near the A470 and M4 and being within easy reach of many beautiful...

I've stayed here a few times. Rooms are good, breakfast was great, service good. Next to the old coal pit where you can visit. Price is a bit expensive but you get what you played for. Overall its one of the best places to stay in the Rhondda.

Can't comment on accommodation as we were just meeting family for a drink & catch-up. Management need to sort out staffing levels as bar service was abysmal. Just two people serving & there was a function in the main hall as well as a pretty full lounge area. Not the fault of the fed-up looking, overworked bar people (although their...

Visited the Loft restaurant today for Mothers Day lunch with seven adults and one child, including, my wife, mother in law, my mother and my sister and her family. Unorganised chaos would be a polite description of our visit. The few waiting staff there were pleasant but there were simply not enough staff working for such a busy day such...

The wedding was great from start to finish with a great coordinator. The food was lovely from breakfast which had a vast selection to the carvery and evening meal which...

We booked the hotel for a nights stay and then checked the reviews on here. Gulp. Maybe not the best choice, so it was with a certain amount of worry we checked in. From the lovely lady on reception to the moment we left we did not have one complaint. The hotel is being refurbed, and that asside as it...

Parking easy with lots of spaces. We arrived on the back road and not the main road so was a little difficult to find on that side as not very lit up.Reception was unmanned when we arrived but the check in was smooth and easy after that. The room was clean and tidy with usual facilities and complimentary tea coffee...
