We picked this inn because it was close to Derby Line, VT where we could get our Global Entry interview from the US Border Patrol. The inn had a good rating on Trip Advisor and they accepted dogs. We drove through a snow storm (they received 34"!) to get there. It turned out we were the only quests at the...

Hello, Our trip was in July 2016, weather was great! drove down this long unpaved road for seemed liked hours, was getting scared thinking the GPS was steering us wrong, but once we arrived it was BEAUTIFUL! We stayed in the Gazebo room (Very Nice), The Inn is actually across the street from the lake(very short distance), but the lake...

Stayed three night in the warm, charming and cozy Angler Cottage. Temps were freezing, below zero with windchill of minus 20s but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The innkeeper, Skip, is a super good guy. Talked with us like we had known him for years, was never too intrusive. Restaurant's winter hours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday 5pm-8pm, with bar opening at...

Arrived after 8pm after restaurant closed. Management and staff managed to prepare me a meal and apologized that a third party made my reservation and couldn't explain hotel details. Personal attention to detail is impeccable. Room clean and bathroom comfortable and clean. Wish I was here on vacation. Bravo to owner management and staff. I stay 200 nights a year...

My husband and I stayed at WilloughVale for 3 nights as part of a 9-day snowmobiling trip. It was a challenge to find a good place to stay in the area and we lucked out with this place. The setting is beautiful - Lake Willoughby is lovely. The Inn itself has a lot of character. I liked the little library...

WilloughVale Inn has been our favorite place to stay in the northeast kingdom. The inn has rooms and cottages that are just beautiful with all the amenities you would need for a wonderful experience. Rooms over looking Lake Willoughby are breathtaking. They have a new chef Justin who prepares delicious entrees for a awesome dinner. Excellent staff service always so...

Skip keeps the Inn and cottages running seamlessly. There are cottages for those who want a kitchen, washer and dryer. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. The library has a fireplace and is very cozy. The breakfast is continental. The morning glory muffins are fresh and tasty. There's a toaster for bread,...

Just checked in about an hour ago, already very impressed with the place! The staff was friendly and accommodating, helping to carry in baggage, rushed to grab anything we could ask for, for tomorrow mornings continental breakfast. So friendly that upon seeing our heavy load, Skip the innkeeper immediately upgraded our small room to an absolutely beautiful and spacious two...

We have stayed now on four different occasions and each time has been consistently excellent. The rooms are always clean, the beds comfortable and the scenery overlooking Lake Willoughby is beautiful and relaxing. The new Chef Justin Rolf's meals have been outstanding and the drinks are great. The staff is attentive and friendly and the innkeeper, Skip, makes you feel...
