Me and my wife only stayed for one night but totally enjoyed our stay away from the hustle and bussell of daily life, clean rooms, comfy bed, friendly staff and a fulfilling English breakfast in the morning washed down with a huge pot of tea, beautiful countryside all around, just what the doctor ordered and good value for money, fully...

We had a lovely 3 day break at Helme Park last week and would have to agree with everything in the last review. We too were greeted by Sam who had to break the news that there would be no food available in the evenings during our stay but she recommended places nearby where we would be able to eat...

We were met by Sam on our arrival and shown to our room, The Bridal Suite. It is fifty four years since we used such a facility for real so it was a pleasant experience. The room had a "four poster" bed, two easy chairs, table, bedside cabinets, dressing table, complementary tea and coffee tray with biscuits and a huge...

We stayed in december. 1st impessions the hotel looked a mess from the front dated and tired. We were welcomed by a lovely receptionist. We were shown to our room where there was 2 heaters as it was explained to us that there was a problem with the heating. Then once trying the hot water we then realised there was...

My wife and I had our wedding reception here in 2008 so have a bit of love for the place, and as a result I have debated wether to leave this review. We came across a family friendly and New Years Eve party at the hotel. £70 to stay over night, disco, evening buffet & breakfast included; bargain.....or so we...

We stayed here as we had booked to see the Polar Express. Our family room was two interconnecting rooms, which we thought was great. The rooms were very clean. The prices in the bar are very reasonable and it was lovely to be sat in front of an open fire. Breakfast was made to order and delicious! Staff are very...

We have visited Helme Park Hall several times and we always receive a warm and friendly welcome, the staff simply can't do enough for you, making it a home from home experience. The food is excellent and the accommodation is relaxed and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

I have made two visits now, staying for a total of three nights, so I feel able to do a review now. This hotel is a hidden gem, that has had a rough time of late. Now with an impressive new general manager, this place is on the mend. I have stayed twice while working in nearby Wolsingham. I had...

Went to Helme Park for dinner on a Friday night. Booked prior (that wasn't needed.....) Arrived into the car park which is down a lane, in total darkness, full of rubbish bags and covered in mud. You simply cannot park in there. 1 Waiter running the bar and restaurant. We ordered in the bar and were told there was a...
