Stayed here for two nights, room spotlessly clean if a bit in the small side. Staff on duty the night we arrived and at breakfast both days were professional and friendly, staff on second night, behind bar not so professional, we asked for a couple more teabags to take to our room, and she went to collect them and didn't...

We chose to have our wedding breakfast and reception at the Metro. On our initial meeting with Lesley, we were sold on the amazing function room and her positive attitude to helping organise our day. We were not disappointed as Lesley, James and their team delivered on everything they promised and more. We could not have had a better day....

Two little gripes I'm afraid- 1. The room was absolutely tiny and we had to keep the heavy curtains shut at all times as the window overlooked the beer garden. Maybe there should be voile panels in addition to the curtains to ensure some privacy? 2. When we checked in, we weren't given any information regarding where and what time...

been twice for afternoon tea, brilliant service brilliant food will go again will recommend haven't stayed in the hotel but it looks lovely, if the service in the restaurant is anything to go it should be good.

We were in room 7 that had no windows so it was very warm,they provided a fan-but you couldn't leave it on all night.The room was clean with a comfortable bed .The staff were friendly,as this was also a bar they were very busy and i had to wait to check in.We had continental breakfast included ,and the choice was...

Nice trendy bar with lovely sun terrace to the front, situated just off Lord Street with cheaper prices than Weathspoons well worth a visit. We did not have the afternoon tea as we had already eaten but it looked very nice.

Stayed here on a Thursday night was a good base hotel for getting around to attractions bars and restaurants, room was very clean was welcomed by the staff who were friendly,parking was good up the road at church would visit again if in the area highly recommended!!

Great location , lovely hotel , friendly staff and great atmosphere . Continental breakfast with a good choice and fresh . Ample sized room , very well decorated and furnished and very very clean . Very well stocked bar and not overpriced with a lovely beer garden . 5 minutes walk maximum to the town centre

stayed here on 9 July and we will be going back.The staff was friendly especially Jerry and sandy .rooms clean and modern.great location .the breakfast was continental but there was plenty to eat .small hotel but better then some of the big ones.

Me my wife Candice went to this hotel the staff are great and the car park pay 3.80 for 10.15 mines then pay more money we can not afford we move hotels the manger great locaan bad room ok and thay was a sub way down the road wot was good hotel need free car park
