I have recently come back from a mystery weekend and it involved an overnight stay at the Scarisbrick Hotel. Now I only paid £45 for the weekend away and my standards were not that high due to the fact you get what you pay for. The hotel was very outdated, the room was very dusty, all the ironmongery was rusty,...

Stayed New Year's Eve at a rate of £139. Room was tiny, dated, damp in bathroom, stained carpet, rotting and mouldy Windows. No heating or hot water due to a fault in the radiator and an antiquated hot water system which doesn't work properly when hotel is at capacity, which was known about when we checked in but wasn't mentioned...

We had family staying in Town on an overnight visit to us. Unfortunately, they had already booked into the Scarisbrick Hotel. I would have got them out of there, but they had already paid. The place used to be the 'in' place in the 1970's. I am afraid that is where it stayed......It is dated, dirty and in need of...

After reading reviews before we went we weren't actually expecting a lot, having said this we were not disappointed overall, the rooms were clean although very dated. The food was basic but adequate, the drinks prices were not to bad and were a little cheaper in the pub below. The main problem was the organisation or the lack of it....

Absolutely Disgusting Hotel. Mostly miserable staff who were not confident dealing with residents. We went back for last drinks after seeing a show. There were six of us. We asked two people to clear a table for us which had empty glasses. The place was empty of people but no clear tables. When a guy did come to clear the tables...
