Went to the Carvery at this hotel today - £4 to park! We met a friend in the front lounge, furniture was dated, dowdy and much in need of refurbishment, and chilly. Stayed at this beautiful hotel on Lord's Street. We went on Dave Bryan Country Music weekend. It was fabulous with a variety of acts to suit everyone. The accommodation is first class and the meals are excellent. Breakfast is self service and the evening 3 course meal is waitress served.

Arrived 6.2.17 After reading the reviews we were worried as all seemed to pick fault. We were Iin a party of 20 & not one of us had any complaints about our allocated rooms, they were a bit old fashioned but beds were comfy & clean. Rooms were well heated, plenty of hot water, clean towels & a tea tray...

At £57 for 1 nights B&B I don't suppose you can expect luxury- but I would have expected the bedroom wallpaper stuck to the walls and the stains of a previous teabag throwing competition to have been removed. The company haven't seen the advert about changing mattresses after a certain number of years either to be fair.... This hotel is...
