Spent one night at The Prince of Wales. Large Hotel that needs some attention. Reception staff were lovely & efficient. I had a good nights sleep. Great location. Walking distance to train station & all main attractions. Good value for your money.

The room also never seemed to get warm and we woke up with a sore back from the mattress. However the bar and reception...

We were given an unexpected upgraded room, so I am trying hard to NOT let that influence this review. Have stayed in many Britannia hotels, and this is almost certainly the best we have used, upon arrival we were met by very friendly staff, and the level of friendliness never faltered. The restaurant food was excellent, albeit slightly limited in...

Stayed here for 2 nights with the wife on the dinner, B&B option and to be honest it was poor. As the title suggests the furnishings in the hotel are an absolute disgrace, filthy chairs and worn out carpets are what you will be met with. Thought we would grin and bear it and went in for dinner, where we...

We was greeted by an unhelpful and miserable receptionist who didn't tell us where to go for breakfast and she never told us who to get to our room, she just abruptly said "the Lift is over there!" We ended up having to ask a cleaner where our room is.. she gave us a dirty look at first and then...
