By far the best bab we have found in Scotland. Superb ambiance of antique furniture wallpaper and curtains. Clean and comfortable beds and baths that work well. The most welcoming hosts I have had the opportunity to meet. Finally, the food is excellent. Absolute best coffee I've had. Well worth a detour. Close to the Cairngorms. A SOLID 6.

Definitely the best stay during our scotland-trip. Host welcomed us with a whiskey and the room are very new and very stylish. Breakfast was very tasty. We would love to come back when we travel scotland again.

"Can I offer you a whiskey?" What a welcome to a lovely guest house in the heart of the Cairngorms. Magnificent breakfast, comfortable and clean rooms and the most welcoming of hosts. They gave us great advice about local walks and places to see. Simply lovely.

We were travelling to Inverness and stayed over at Arden House. The hosts Norrie & Jenny made us feel very welcome and at ease right away. The room and facilities were first class and we thoroughly enjoyed our nights stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Large room with nice bathroom. The quality and quantity of breakfast was...

Arden House gets a 5 across the board. It all starts with the gracious hosts Norrie and Jennie and gets better. We were given a cheerful greeting and our choice of a sherry or scotch, or soft drink. The room was spacious the bed was quite comfortable and the bath was spotless with lots of hot water and water pressure....

Norrie and Jenny helped make our trip to Scotland very special. They are so warm, genuine and helpful. The house is absolutely beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. They had suggestions for what to do in the area and places to eat. We took their advice and had a wonderful time.

Invitation to a wedding in Aviemore prompted me to look for somewhere to stay that wasn't in the town as I'd heard it could get pretty busy. Trip Advisor reviews were tip top for Arden House and I was lucky enough to secure a booking by speaking directly to owner Norrie. Arriving rather late I was assured it wasn't inconvenient...

Discovered the perfect place for a break in this quiet and pretty little town. Just had a weekend away in the best guest house we’ve ever stayed in with the nicest couple as hosts who welcomed my husband and me with a nice wee drink on showing us to our bedroom, and it was the most pleasant spotlessly clean room...

From the moment we arrived, the owners could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom was fitted out to 4* hotel standard, as was the beautiful bathroom. Both rooms were much larger than average, and spotlessly clean. Our breakfast was also excellent. We could not recommend this Guest House more highly.
