Got a great deal for a weekend stay with a show. We enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is an older building but it is in good repair and has been well cared for. There is parking available but it is limited. I parked at the rear of the hotel. The check in was really good and the staff were friendly...

Singers were great and we were seated beside a great bunch from Aberdeen. The food was average, could have been better. Drink prices were rather high £2.10 for a can of irn bru and most times the price per round varied even though same drinks were purchased. No incentive for the designated driver. All in all a great night.

Did'nt seem very inviting as we went in, quite a lot of staff about but they all seemed in a world of their own! We sat and ate lunch then had a desert. Seemed to get better as time went on and we got a feeling that the place was quite efficient and that all the things that needed to...

Booked via Expedia for two nights bed and breakfast. Building looks great from outside but don't judge a book by its cover!! This is quite a dated hotel, especially the hall ways and the stairs not to mention our room. Upon arrival it took 1 of the 3 members of staff at reception 2 minutes to acknowledge us with a...

Having been to the Angus Hotel before knew what to expect roomwise etc. On arrival were given same room as on previous visit which was fine as room was clean, comfortable and totally acceptable. The problem came with the food. Unfortunately the menu was much better on paper than reality. The 1st night we ordered slow cooked beef etc which...

Seen many bad reviews so was fearing worst and therefore pleasantly suprised. It is an old hotel with extensions added which makes layout quirky, with only one small lift for four people only (without luggage) at busy times you might have to wait for lift. The room was bright, spacious and clean with large flatscreen tv and new bathroom suite,...

Large(ish) hotel in the centre of Blairgowrie. So ideally located in that sense. Staff are very good. Public areas are nice. Rooms are a little dated and in my case the shower mixer had two settings (scalding and freezing). Another feature if my rom seemed to be the close proximity of the hotel pool - nice chlorine smell in the...

Ordered fish and chips for myself partner and kids. Fish was awful. Dry border line off. Sent it back, second fish was just as bad. Refused to pay for it. Waiter however very good. He looked embarrassed I'm not surprised . I'm amazed they can charge double what the local fish and chip shop charge, which are much better and...
