Stayed at the Royal hotel for the weekend, On check in, Laura at reception was so friendly. The food was excellent, the fish and chips were to die for. The bar had a great atmosphere with locals, staff and guests all having a great bit of banter between them, I was in tears with laughter. All the bar staff were... More

We had a good-sized room looking over the town. Staff were very pleasant, and the restaurant offered good meals and friendly service. The location is very central, providing the opportunity for a easy walk through the town of Blairgowrie.

Stayed here for the Cateran Yomp. The room could do with a lick of paint but if all you need it for is a bed for the night then this is ideal. Clean bedding and towels. Shower very powerful. TV in the room and WIFI. Breakfast was very nice, it was help yourself. The only downfall really was there wasn't... More

clean tidy hotel,,, although could do with an uplift and outdated, a few wonky chairs in the room and just a bit of attention to detail,, food was ok, staff were friendly and welcoming, not the best place ive stayed but if your not fussy and want a bed for the night I would recommend.

Food was great. I felt the waitress was a little abrupt but nevertheless the food was good. The prawn cocktail was swimming in water. Could do with offering more variety for children other than the usual chicken nuggets, fish fingers etc.
