OMG. That was the best meal we've had, the duck was to die for. It was also excellent value for money with 3 courses for £17.95 and a complementary glass of fizz too. The service was excellent with nothing being too much trouble. Well done to all staff.

Stopped here for lunch and was greeted in by the manager Joanne. Service was excellent. Difficult time choosing something from the menu as everything sounded delicious. Chose the cheeseburger and chips and was not disappointed, friend had chicken with haggis and peppercorn sauce and I wanted to try that also as it looked fabulous. Desserts to die for. Had a...

Large portions served here. I had the Balmoral chicken and the other half had lasagne, then had lovely bailey's cheesecake for pudding. Very friendly staff, who provide a fantastic service. Recommend this if you're in the area.

Very cute older restaurant, lovely setting. I had the steak and ale pie and it was so good, the meat so tender. My husband had a hamburger, which he said was good. I also had the sticky toffee pudding, yummers! The staff was really friendly too.

The staff was amazing and the hotel is very cosy. We just spend there one night but for sure we'll come back. The restaurant is one of the best in the city and they use to have live music. The hotel have 4 rooms so it's very personal.

Spent a night here whilst attending a nearby function. New owners are trying to improve the place, but they have a way to go still. Rooms still need attention and although the heating was on initially, it goes off early on a time switch resulting in quite a cold room.En suite toilet with shower fairly good and modern. All very...
