We booked through National holidays on a 5day break, we have been to IOW before but try different hotels. We booked this one as the weather had been bad at home and the hotel had a swimming pool and steam room thinking that we could use if weather was bad. For the money we paid it is excellent value, the...

Thank you very much for your review. We always appreciate feedback so that we can improve the Hotel for all guests. We are currently working through a programme of refurbishment for the rooms and hope to have the majority finished by the end of Spring this year. Once again thank you.

We stayed at the Burlington as part of a celebration visit to Isle of Wight and had a good experience overall. Located only yards from the seafront and Sandown high street the hotel is ideally situated. The staff were courteous and efficient and very adept at multi tasking between reception and restaurant service. Mindful of the budget, we had realistic...

I'm a regular National Holidays traveller, having stayed in at least two dozen different hotels with them; I really enjoyed my stay at The Burlington and I'd definitely rate this hotel as amongst their nicer ones. I was allocated a compact double room which appeared freshly decorated: the carpet was unworn and unstained, the furniture was all matching and there...

Booked for 4days at the end of January to scatter my husbands ashes on the island he loved and it was spoiled! They had filled the hotel with lay preachers and ministers who had taken over the entire hotel, we couldn't get into the bar area at all as they had meetings in there and having taken ill while there...

Thank you very much for your review. We always appreciate feedback so that we can improve the Hotel for all guests. Whilst I can understand this may have been an emotional time for yourself and the purpose of your visit, I fail to see how you can say that your stay was "terrible" because of the Hotel being busy. I...

We stayed here as we came to the Isle of Wight on a National Holidays tour. Room was very warm and very clean and tidy. Staff made us very welcome. Not far to the beach and there is two sets of bus stops just round the corner which was very handy for us as we used the buses every day...

Paid good money to stay in the hotel one night, the following evening we went back and we was standing there making a reservation when she said 'you can't afford it. Get out before I kick you out' after showing a bank account that I could. Disgusted! Surprised anyone stays there. Wish her boss knew she was speaking to guests...

Emma. Thank you for your review. We take all feedback very seriously and act on issues that our guests raise with us. Reviewing your comments you failed to mention how rude you and your partner were to my receptionist. Also that, whilst trying to make an "in advanced" booking whilst at reception, you bank cards were declined over and over...
