My husband and I stayed here for the August Bank Holiday weekend. Lovely clean room with a comfortable bed,hot shower and soft towels. The room also had tea & coffee making facilities. There was also little added extras.Bottled water, biscuits & snacks.A really nice little gesture! Unfortunately due to work commitments we never got a chance to try the breakfast, but when...

Would DEFINITELY recommend for the following reasons. Greeted by the friendly owner Barry, who always had a tale to tell, usually whilst serving the excellent freshly-cooked breakfast prepared by his wife! A nice surprise was the vegetarian choice of sausage and bacon. Also on offer were berries, yoghurt and cereals, all branded names so you know what you're eating! In...

Stayed here for 2 nights with family. First impressions , we thought omg what have done ! The place looks tired from the outside in definite need of some tlc. On entering it smells quite musty and old, the decor reflects this. The rooms were small, but clean. Tea and coffee facilities also a fridge in the wardrobe . We...

It is a shame you had to make your review so personal. Others of your party (family members) told me The Westfield was exactly what they wanted & how the use of our Game room had saved a fortune, (in that they could bring in drinks rather than pay £30 plus for rounds in a bar). They also liked the...

We stayed in 'The Westfield' for one night early June 2016. The house is beautiful and the hosting family is kind and helpful. Free and safe parking and cleanliness of room was essential for us. All expectations were fully met. Thank you for your great hospitality. Nina

A warm welcome, a nice room and an excellent breakfast but why was there a cushion on my bed which looked as if the cat had attacked it? It was faded, worn and starting to unravel! For the price of the room, this lack of attention to detail was notable.

Stayed here for two nights on a weekend. Very pleasant experience...the family who run this were very accommodating to our needs. They gave us advice on the local area and were up for a chat at times. We also used the hot tub for a small fee which was enjoyable. Breakfast was good, location perfect for exploring the island. We...

Most attentive hosts. There was nothing that was too much trouble and the family paid attention to every detail. Breakfasts were superb. Room small but with fridge, teas and coffees, biscuits and toffees was perfect for our needs.

Thank John B
