The room was very nice and it was nice to be able to walk down to the promenade and see the North Sea at the start of our walk on Hadrian's wall. The host, Andrew was very helpful on different recommendations and the breakfast, a full english was hearty.

Myself my wife and my daughter had a lovely stay. Breakfast was superb. Couldn't have had better hosts. When asked host Andrew recommendations of where to eat he was spot on with the variety and provided a recommendation which was perfect for us.

Me and my son spent one night here and enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is located in Whitley bay, not far from Newcastle. One minute walk from the seashore and the beautiful promenade along the sea, leading towards Tynemouth, not far from the start of our Hadrian wall path walk. The hotel is small and charming. The rooms perfectly...

This was the final b&b on my hike of Hadrian's Wall, and it unfortunately loses a point because the shower pressure was not good and there was no tub. Room itself was lovely and clean with good sized TV. Great light exposure from the nearby bay. Andrew provided a wonderful breakfast but very little interaction due to the lack of...

GREAT place for Newcastle - short walk from the Metro and to Whitley Bay. It was a longer Metro ride from the main train station than many hotels, but the Metro is fast and the location/service was worth it. The outside and inside of the lodge have wonderful ambiance. The breakfast was filling and beautifully presented. We stayed here at...
