The fish and chips are famous and deserve the hype they get. Chips are amazing fish very good too. The pot of tea was huge and best tea I have had while eating out. Service is not so good, it was quiet when I was there (5pm) but the only staff member on duty seemed over whelmed and not able...

Eight of us arrived with four Groupon vouchers and received a very warm welcome on a particularly damp and windy day. The views of the stormy sea were amazing as were the fish and chips. Service was good, staff were lovely and good day was had by all.

The Waterford Arms can be found on Collywell Bay Road, overlooking Seaton Burn, and Collywell Bay. It is a beautiful location, and when the weather is good, there are plenty of walks, and opportunities for taking photographs. The hotel sits in a commanding position looking out to sea, and is impressive from the outside. Staff were friendly and helpful. Full...

Me, my sister and 2 grandchildren stayed at the Waterford arms this weekend. The staff were fantastic and the service was excellent. We had Room 2 which had the most beautiful view of the harbour. Also I must mention the food /restaurant - the food was lovely and quite a good choice. I would also recommend the full English breakfast....

Stayed here last year ,revisited for Tall Ships for two nights. Ideal situation and had room 5 again. Disappointed that the room was still rather tired especially bathroom and desperately needs refurbishing in my opinion Adequate but in need of a facelift upstairs. Food ok though nothing very inspiring on menu
