I stayed in this guesthouse for two weeks and I must say that it was a great experience! With such competent and nice staff, as well as nice cozy rooms and just the most amazing view, it's really a fantastic place. Carol just takes care of everyone!

Carol seemed like a nice enough lady, i didn't find her exactly helpful but she was friendly, the main issue i had with this inn was the fact that during the whole stay there was no wifi at all... now of course in hotels it is ALWAYS necessary. However in B&B's with being normally family owned these are not always...

Carol is a lovely lady, I enjoyed staying in her company. Delicious breakfast, big clean rooms, amazing view, I'm definitely coming back. If you want to have a room with a view on the beautiful coast of Whitley Bay this is the perfect place. Moreover, beds are very comfortable. I totally recommend it.

Visited recently with a few friends and couldnt fault The Cara. Usually at seaside B&B's the rooms are small and sometimes dirty but great sized rooms, bathrooms were nice and clean and breakfast was fantastic. Staff were all friendly and informative as we are from out of town - highly recommended!

I have just returned from The Cara Guesthouse. From the reviews I thought I was booking into a nice B&B which encouraged families. The photos all looked nice, the reviews were good and I thought there was on-site parking. I was met by a gentleman who was obviously in a hurry to go out. He showed me the room and...
