First visit to whitley bay, the Hotel is well positioned on the front and good for walking along the promenade, near to shops and pubs. The staff at the Hotel were very welcoming and explained about the restaurant and bar for dinner or snacks, We had dinner on first evening which was very enjoyable , nice atmosphere and quite inexpensive....

My flat was out of bounds for the day so I decided, since I've stayed here before, to enjoy another night at The Royal Hotel. Once again I enjoyed my stay. Enjoyed a couple of drinks in the adjoining bar, had a comfortable stay in the room I was given, bed was comfy, Freeview TV, tea and coffee facilities, complimentary...

I checked reviews of the Royal and all though some were negative I decided to book based the positive feed back. The lady was very helpful at...

The rooms were very clean with coffee and tea facilities.TV. Breakfast facilities and food very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Just a few minutes walk to Town Centre. Plenty of Food...

Stayed in this hotel over Christmas. The staff were delightful and very helpful. Had a large sea view room with lovely views. The hotel was very quiet and the bar was not open apart from our first day. We had parking right at the hotel but this would probably be more of an issue in the summer although there are...
