This is a tired but comfortable old fashioned sea side hotel. It feels like a pair of old slippers. The staff are excellent and courteous. The rooms in the back have no seaview and look onto an internal atrium complete with atrium type noises Best avoided unless paying a discount. The beds are comfortable but the showers small and water seeps...

I quite enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It's well run, with adequate staff providing a high standard of service. It is clean and pleasant. The public areas are easy to enjoy and to relax in, and the rooms are all quite spacious, pleasant, clean and modern. The Sefton offers a couple of places to eat and drink: one bar...

Wow. Very Impressive. Staff Wonderful. On arrival we asked at the front desk about a sim card for my phone, because it was after 6pm everywhere was closed. After getting up to the room, a member of staff stopped by the room with a sim card !! How thoughtful, considerate. Fabulous View. Immaculate. Great breakfast included. A must. Highly Recommend....

We brought a group of 38 Rotarians for a reunion weekend, though many of us tagged a few days on. We have stayed at the Sefton before which is why we chose it. None of the rest of our group had. We all had atrium rooms, as requested, and all had a fabulous time. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the...

Ideal for a short stay hotel, right on the front, sea facing over looking the beach. the reception area is good, though the staff are sometimes a bit slow coming to the desk. The rooms are very comfortable accessible buy lift to all floors, the dining room is very large, nice seating and well laid out tables. We had 1/2...

We stayed in an executive suite with bay views......wow! The rooms were recently renovated and enormous. The bathroom was salacious, modern and well appointed. I think paying the extra for this suite is well worth the money. We dinned in the Norman Wisdom bar and as a wonderful meal, genius portions and fresh. Breakfast was in The Harris room on...

The Sefton is a large imposing hotel that is lovely and clean but a little dated. After being given a quite dark room we complained and were given a much lighter room and we were very pleasantly surprised at the high standards that are maintained at this hotel. The food in both the main restaurant and in Norman's bar were...

This hotel definitely needs updating. Even the elevator is super tiny and so slow that they have a chair on the ground flood near it so you can sit and wait. With that said I liked the view from our room looking out on the promenade and the bay. The bathroom is spacious but very old. The room was large...
