We arrived for a girl's weekend on a Friday evening and received a very warm welcome from Delia at the check in desk. The room we were given was great with an en-suite, a balcony and a beautiful view of the sea. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfy. Breakfast the next morning had all we needed...

Friendly staff,comfortable room cleaned daily. Breakfast ok(could do better sausages) Overall brilliant stay. Bonus is the bar when youv'e been out all day. Would recommend. Will return in 2017 if i can get a booking.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Trevelyan in September 2016. Really lovely member of staff checked us in, gave us the wifi password and let us know when breakfast was. Rooms clean, tidy & comfortable. Breakfasts are simple - cereals & jug of orange juice left out for you to help yourself, waitress comes round to offer tea/coffee/full...

We arrived on the late ferry from Liverpool getting to the hotel around 10:30pm. Although the front desk was closed, we were warmly greeted and given instructions on using the elevator, morning breakfast and house rules. Definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone ! We arrived and were seen by a lady who was very rude, unwelcoming and made it very difficult for us to even check in, it was like they did not want us there and not a good start ! I had several sleepless nights here due to very noisy other guests...

We were very concerned about the bad reviews but actually were pleasantly surprised. Very clean hotel, friendly and accommodating staff and excellent poached eggs! They let us leave our bags there and check out late. It's a budget hotel so don't expect 5star but it's great for the price!

This hotel is run down and dated. It was like going back to 1968 accommodation. The bed in the first room was old you could feel the springs it creaked when I sat on it. I knew I wouldn't sleep well so requested a better room. I was told there'd be a charge of £20 for two nights which I...

Boring ! Basic ! Ugly ! TV never worked, shower didn't work properly, opened and closed bar when suited ! No entertainment, had no privacy on windows ! I've booked the chepest room with shared toilet, shower and toilets generally always cleans and very nice and clean room as well! Friendly staff, you feel yourself part of the family! ;) lovely untill last day!! ;)

I have never written a Tripadvisor review before, but this hotel is so dire, I am compelled to warn others. At best, the staff are rude and the rooms are small, filthy uncomfortable dives.
