The Empress Hotel was in a great location and good value for money. Rooms were clean, except our bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from the last guests but not a problem, as emptied that day. Breakfast was very good, polite friendly staff. And free parking opposite!

Having stayed at other hotels this hotel is ideal ad a base for a budget holiday. Rooms are clean and adequate. Beds comfortable. Breakfast is minimal with the usual. There was no choice of alternative unless asked. Kippers were available but not offered. Manx gourmet restaurant is a burger restaurant again no frills but tasty. Did not dine in the...

Very attractive hotel. Lounge area is very well laid out.. Good choice at meal times. Breakfast especially good. Staff pleasant and helpful. Bedroom a bit on the small size and not a lot of natural light but comfortable and quiet. Well situated with lovely views of the bay. Buses stop nearby, as do the horse drawn trams. A really delightful...

As we got off the bus from airport and saw the entrance to the hotel we were very impressed. The lobby and reception areas are open plan and very attractive giving a welcoming and luxurious feel. The reception staff were charming and helpful. In fact, the staff throughout our stay were first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room...

Our sea facing room was very comfortable with a large firm bed. Kippers for breakfast. We were there for a function, dinner in the hotel. The food was perfectly adequate with over 100 diners. The staff were very helpful even reminding us of the best place to buy our kippers

We decided to go for a meal at The Brasserie at the Empress as a direct result of our usual haunt starting to charge it's customers for parking. We were certainly not disappointed. The service and food were both excellent and the hotel itself wonderful. Well done, I hope you get many more customers.

Although I'd been to IOM on business years ago this was the first time for my wife and we had an enjoyable 3 day break. Rooms well appointed with Tea/coffee etc although a little small for an executive sea view room - the view were great and certainly wouldn't have wanted to be in any of the inside rooms which...
