We had a wonderful stay at The Fawley. The rooms were perfectly clean and were beautifully decorated, breakfast was delicious, and the owners were lovely and super helpful, even booking the ferries for us from Southampton. It is the cutest little inn with information about some of the sights on the island and a variety of board games if you... More

We stayed at this hotel 07/11/16 it is a well run family business. We was greeted warmly on arrival. We chose the superior room was very nice. Little things had been considered for arrival. Toothbrush and paste bottled water and plenty of Tea and Coffee facilities. The room was immaculate. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful . We also spent time... More

This was a quick visit for a working weekend and I was attracted by the high ratings given to this guest house. I was not disappointed. Reasonable price, spotless accommodation and outstanding breakfast. Also free parking - if you arrive early enough.

This was our first stay at The Fawley but certainly won't be our last. From assisting us with booking our ferry (and getting residents rates which made for a decent saving) through to laying on extras of everything to accommodate our 5 year old, Debbie and her team made our visit completely hassle free. Our room was lovely, beautifully clean... More

A big Thank you goes to everybody at The Fawley for a lovely stay, your room was most comfortable, spotlessly clean and your standards should be rated at A+. Most of all, your breakfast was just the ticket before our second day on the island doing the Isle Of Wight Bus, Beer & Walks weekend! I thinks we may well... More

We chose this Guest House based on the very good reviews, and were not disappointed. It is well located, within walking distance of the beach and the centre of Shanklin. The room was fine, on the first floor, beds very comfortable and was spotless. We stayed two nights and there was only one other family staying on the first night.... More

This was our first visit to Isle of Wight and we spent our 5 year wedding anniversary weekend in Shanklin. The Fawley is a lovely B&B halfway between the beach and the old town - so location is excellent. The owners are very helpful and friendly, and definitely go the extra mile to make sure their guests are happy and... More

My son booked The Fawley for an overnight base for cycling around the Island. Being directly opposite Yarmouth it is an excellent half-way point. Couldn't fault it for the price. Good location and clean and quiet room. The Breakfast is truly excellent, fresh fruit salad, home-made muesli and a great choice of 'mains'. The hosts are very obliging and helped... More

Everything about this family run B&B is great. Great welcome, great accommodation and really great breakfast - compares with the choice you would get in many 4 star hotels that I've stayed in - but at The Fawley the service is better! Just a very short walk to the lovely Shanklin beach and accessible to the train station too. Limited... More
